No support from the GP
My sister has Alzheimer's and is supposed to be reviewed yearly. I have POA so I rang after two years and they said they'd called her which obviously doesn't work well. I got her booked in and told the GP that, amongst other concerns, my sister had taken too much medication to the point where we had to call 111. The doctor wasn't concerned at all, offered no help or information and just told me that she'll get worse. You get no support from the GPs.
I've asked for texts to be sent to me but the
... y're still not. I'll have to go in again about that and it's difficult to find the time.
The receptionists are always very nice and you can walk in and ask questions.

A safe and comfortable space
Nurse Beth conducted my first cervical screening. She took the time to explain the process and answered any of my questions. I felt incredibly informed, comfortable and safe – it didn’t hurt at all! Thank you!

Dr Gilbert: Calm and Reassuring Clinical Support
(Emergency/Ambulance Coordination) Dr Gilbert provided outstanding professional support during my recent acute cervical incident, when paramedics attended and I was subsequently transferred to hospital.

Her intervention was calm, structured, and clinically precise. She ensured that my GP context and relevant medical background were clearly communicated to the ambulance service, which contributed to an appropriate and well-coordinated response.
At a moment of significant physical pain and dis
... tress, her clear and measured guidance helped stabilise me and gave me the confidence to accept hospital transfer. Dr Sara Gilbert approach was both medically sound and reassuring.
I am very grateful for her professionalism and care.

Professional and Measured Clinical Support
Dr Oludeye conducted a home visit while I was still stabilising following my recent neck injury and fall-related leg pain. His approach was professional, balanced, and considerate of both physical and psychological vulnerability.
Despite the need for physical examination, he remained attentive to both my physical condition and the impact of trauma responses during assessment. Reasonable adjustments were clearly considered throughout the visit.
His manner was calm, respectful, and medically tho
... rough, which contributed significantly to my sense of safety during a vulnerable period.
I sincerely appreciate his careful and balanced approach home visits.

Dr Aribike:Thoughtful and Person-Centred Care
Dr Aribike, demonstrated excellent person-centred practice during a particularly vulnerable period following my hospital attendance.
Although the appointment had been scheduled in advance to review right leg pain following a fall, it coincided with the days immediately after my acute cervical injury and hospital attendance. During that period, my dizziness, cognitive fog, and overall vulnerability had significantly intensified.
As a result, I mistakenly believed the contact was related to the
... recent emergency, rather than the pre-existing appointment. Dr Aribike recognised the interaction between the acute injury, temporary cognitive impairment, and physical vulnerability. She responded with clinical clarity and arranged an appropriate home visit as a reasonable adjustment, ensuring the assessment could proceed safely without adding further strain during a period of acute post-injury instability. Her approach was calm, medically focused, and compassionate, ensuring continuity of care at a difficult time.

Good care
I think this practice has improved significantly over the last few years. Front desk staff are generally helpful and pleasant, and the clinical care is good. I feel they are providing a very good service
