Chet Valley Medical Practice

To be honest I rarely visit but I can't complain about what service I have had, I find they're quite good.
Reception are always more than helpful and, on the whole, most of the doctors are very pleasant and quite easy-going.
There's nothing to complain about.

They're very good. The doctors have always been friendly, helpful and to the point.
Recently I've had to wait longer than I'd hope to to see them but I'm very pleased with the practice.

It's been good here. The receptionists are quite friendly which makes a difference. I don't come a lot but they've been incredibly quick when I have needed to.
I can ask to see my named doctor but I'm not usually bothered who I see. I saw the paramedic recently and she was great.

They've always been absolutely brilliant. We're very fortunate to have such a good doctor's surgery.
I've just had my ears syringed and I was happy with the wait to the appointment. When I've needed it more urgently in the past they have fitted me in.
They've also seen my daughter on the same day when she's hurt herself.

It's fine, seems alright to me!

The people in there are excellent once you get to see them. I can't fault the staff at all. I can usually see my own GP, Dr. Hofmann.
I've only used the new booking system once and I had an answer back in an hour.
Things have improved in the last couple of months.

No problems - there's nothing amiss. It's as you'd expect.

I just came in to book our Covid and flu injections and that was brilliant.
A few months ago we had to wait seven weeks for my husband to be seen which I think is a little excessive. He has Parkinson's disease and was in a lot of pain. I did come in to see if we could have a cancellation but we couldn't. However, Dr. Morgan was very good with him and within a week he'd had an x-ray and physio.

Brilliant service, we've just had microsuction on our ears. It was about 2-3 weeks from booking but that's not too bad as it wasn't urgent. My husband wears hearing aids so would have preferred it done sooner.
They're generally fine. We get our flu and Covid jabs straight away. I can't complain.
The prescriptions are there when expected and they let us know when they're ready. My husband has found the pharmacist very useful.

The only difficulty is seeing the doctor. I'm not online, I don't have a smartphone so I can't book an appointment. It's no use on the phone so I come to the surgery which is what I just did. The appointment is in a week which isn't bad. I'm sure in an emergency it would be quicker.
I'm happy when I do see someone. I get good results and referrals etc.
It's four stars because of the difficulty booking.
