The only way I can get an appointment here is to phone 111 and get them to force them to see me, even finding a lump was not enough of a reason to get a doctors appointment. You just get told to go to A&E or phone 111.
You can't ever just make an appointment you have to go on a waiting list. They have started doing electronic prescriptions now which is an improvement.

Very rude, ignorant female doctor. Felt discriminated

I had a consultation today with Dr Natalia. Although there was a lengthy wait to see her it was, by far, the most comprehensive, thorough and reassuring consultation I have had with an NHS GP for many years.
If only all GPs were as good as this…..the system wouldn’t be anywhere near as broken as it is.
Thank you so much Dr Natalia.

my appointment with my preferred Dr had been put in with another Dr and not told about it said DR could not give a steroid injection as not allowed to so appointment was a waste of time even though my preferred DR was there but refused to do it very bad practice for a practice partner and poor management.

I want to be able to email for prescriptions but they make you ring up. I won't go to them for influenza and covid jabs as I can go elsewhere which I can get to faster and don't have to wait as long.

Phoned Monday for my wife to have a nebulizer did to having brittle asthma, only 1 local doctor on site told by a very rude and obnoxious guy on reception to ring 999 wasn't interested in helping

... n the first place it would be a much easier and quicker process.
We felt the service is very inefficient and not meeting the needs of patients.

... oms and can not get an appointment. We have had to resort to using our new love go we are provided with through our life insurance but even they can’t do much without GP referrals.
Also, when you do speak to a RECEPTIONIST they now ask you what your issue is. I’m not calling to explain it to a receptionist, I want to speak to a doctor.
It’s a joke and we should be getting better service.

... other than the receptionist. The receptionist was helpful but contacting them by phone very poor and in the end I made two personal visits to the reception to get information.
I was in discomfort with frequency of urination and felt that an infection was imminent and was concerned about my forthcoming holiday. In the end we ran out of time and I had to accept that I could get no more help.
It was Friday pm. Late that night I passed a kidney stone.
I am reporting this on the following day, a Saturday morning. I am hoping that any inflamation caused by the stone will not result in a further infection and feel that the lack of a nurse practioner to see me or indeed a GP was very unfortunate.
I go on holiday on Monday with my fingers crossed.

... ny other medication. The next day I was found by friends in a very confused out of it state.
They phoned the surgery and there was nobody there medically trained that could speak to them so they were told to phone 111. They managed to get through to my GP who told them to send a paramedic and I ended up at the N&N.
When I was discharged the Dr phoned and asked for a sample, I took it in but they sent it off without any information and it got lost. I feel like if the doctor had got it right or if he had checked in on me I would not of ended up in hospital or needing the NEAT care when I was discharge and a whole lot of money could of been saved.
I have almost given up trying to get an appointment for anything any more, which is dangerous as I have an ongoing long term condition.
