I recently registered with this practice and had trouble continuing a long-standing medication I rely on. The GP refused to continue my prescription and refused to provide clear written reasons. I was also given incorrect information in my records and correspondence.
This caused delays and left me at risk of abrupt interruption to essential treatment. I hope the practice improves continuity of care and ensures accurate record-keeping for all patients.
... and Pat balance out the bad service. My spine is crumbling and I need bilateral injections 3-4 times a year which I fund privately.
I called to see if I could speak to my usual doctor about getting lidocaine patches to help the pain in-between. I was told he was at Snettisham so I rushed there but it was a different doctor who referred me back to the hospital and I had an injection there in March.
I've been told I'm only allowed one a year which isn't enough.
I have to have blood tests ahead of my appointments for cancer check-ups. I call them and queue on the phone - I'm told they can't fit me in and I have to go the hospital for it, which isn't right.
Sometimes if a doctor calls you back for appointments they don't have all your information as they can't see your records. One of those people told me it's because they farm their work out and they were based in London.
The nurses are very good, it would close without them keeping it going.
My husband is on palliative care and not once has the GP called or come out to ask how he is or if we have any questions. It feels like a lack of care. It would be nice to at least know they're there if we need them.
I think it's okay, it all seems good to me. I can get an appointment if I need it but I don't need to come very often. Staff are friendly, no complaints
Very good! They do everything you ask, you get everything you need here.
The surgery is good once you get in. When it comes to booking an appointment if you're in the surgery they say to go and phone to book and then you could be 20 in the queue.
It's easy to make appointments, I do it in person. You know when your appointment is and they run on time. I do prefer to go to the Heacham site because it's closer for me. I would sometimes like to see the doctor more.
I get everything I need. My experience making appointments varies, today was good. I would prefer Heacham site because we don't drive so we have to catch the bus to get here.
Very good. They're organised. I was phoned to be asked for a follow up blood test. It all works very well.
