I was prescribed Escialopram and for 2 months worth from hunts pharamacy . The sticker on the box of meds said Escitalopram and when I looked at the box it said ESOmeprazloe! I had been taking them for 3 weeks thinking they where Escitalopram! I had severe withdrawal symptoms and a decline in my mental health .
Was given an verbal apology but no feedback as to why it happens and reassuring it won’t happen again . I’m making a formal complaint as this has taken its tole on my mental health.
Hunt's pharmacy on Plumstead road have been brilliant, I cannot fault the service I receive there. They have chased prescriptions for me when they have not been sent and make sure they have stock of the special drink I have.
They give great advice and will always try and find the cheapest alternative. The staff are very helpful.
