Hurn Chemists

Hurns have recently been very poor at ordering in my prescription, giving items ordered for me to other customers, then I've had dismissive staff recommending unsuitable, weaker products. I have had to change to a different pharmacy.

I have been acutely unwell and due to the pressures on Norwich pharmacies I fully expected to have to wait several days for my prescriptions to be dispensed. I was very pleased that they were able to dispense my prescriptions promptly.

If you come a few mins after closing (6.30) you will be fined. Then if you try to talk to them they will say it’s not their responsibility. Rude and unhelpful staff.

I wanted to visit Hurns one Sunday to buy pain relief for an elderly friend who I had just taken to the Nnuh for facial surgery. After pulling up in front, I realised they were shut.

The totally dishonest parking cowboys they use Sent me a £100 fine for being a 'non patron!!!!' They are not legally allowed to do this, but reject all claims and try to intimate you into paying on the basis that you entered a contract with them. Don't pay! Hurns deny all responsibility and say its the landlord. ...

Great service for local people trying to use the pharmacy when in need.

The chemist is convenient due to location, it's close to my gp surgery and my home. It's also great for always getting what I need.

But when I have to deal with the staff members on the counter, they are so extremely rude! Just not friendly at all, a woman is particular was talking to me like I was lower than her. She threw bit of paper and pen across saying "put your name and date of birth down" This is not the first time I have encountered such rude staff, there is another lady there, i don' ... t know her name but she rolls her eyes at customers and snaps.

I'm sorry, but you are supposed to be helpful, what is it with the attitude? All your packaging says "ask your pharmacist or our members of staff for help.

" I just don't think the people you have in at the moment want to help!
