The Breast Cancer Unit is first class.
They run a very well organised unit. The Breast Cancer Nurses are fabulous. Mrs S Downey is honestly the best Consultant that I have ever met. Any questions are answered in a way that you fully understand. She goes above and beyond anyone else that I know. Simply the best

Can't get through on the phone
Monday morning rang main hospital number multiple times can’t get through cut off each time. Contacted PALS via telephone goes to answerphone gives option of email with query , family member has used this option over different problem recently nobody gets.

Can’t get through to relevant department, and when you do eventually get through you’ve lost the will to live.

Everyone is very friendly
I had to have a scan at the James Paget and everyone was very friendly, the N&N is good but because it is bigger it just doesn't have the same personal feel.

Very quick
It was in and out. They told me about my appointment over the phone and were very clear about everything. I dropped my husband off and then parked in the main carpark, that worked well for us.

It was all okay. I found it alright, but it would be good if the Louise Hamilton was labelled on the map as a landmark.

Excellent
Excellent. On time, staff were excellent. Surrounding area was nice. When we got a map of where to come it didn't say there was disabled parking that we could have used.

2 x scan and consultation
From the moment I entered the department the staff were really personable and friendly. I felt at ease with my sensitive procedures and left feeling like I’d been well looked after.
