I think that the GPs are good, I can get an appointment and the treatment is good. The staff are all very good, I have no complaints.

They never prescribe me anything. Two doctors have said they can't help me. I've been told by other people that they are utterly useless. I have a bad knee. They haven't even mentioned painkillers. They promised me physiotherapy but I haven't received it.

They're useless, they're terrible. They don't want to actually help you. They don't want to help and prescribe.

I have to have regular check ups at the surgery, once a month. I have no problem booking these or any appointments, in fact I phoned this morning and got an appointment for this afternoon. I feel well looked after here and have no problems.

Considering what's going on in the NHS at the moment I have found the surgery to be an exception. Front line staff are sympathetic and helpful, doctors and nurses are living up to their vows.
Unfortunately it all falls apart once you get referred outside the surgery. I waited 18 months for a CT scan by the time I was offered the appointment I'd gone private and solved my issues.

I think they are very good. They are good to us and usually fit us in with appointments the same day.

I tried to get a non-urgent appointment as I have a wound on my foot that is not healing and I am a type 2 diabetic. I telephoned for advice and told that they were too busy to see me and that a doctor would call.
The doctor didn't and when this was followed up, I was told, again, that they were too busy and I should go to the hospital or a walk -in-centre. So, if this is the kind of surgery you want looking after you.

... ief too!

I have had great support from the Ninham St practice. It's always been possible to get an appointment or a call back and I find the doctors, nurses and staff very kind and responsive.
I am particularly impressed with the way they are evolving the way the practice works to make better use of everyone's skills and keep things moving; this includes bringing in Saturday appointments, a part-time physio and getting senior nursing staff to deal with more issues.

I think it's a very good surgery. Luckily I don't need to use it very often. They keep on top of my regular issues. I must say that I do find it difficult not having a named GP. It gets confusing constantly seeing new ones.
