... and distress. No clear explanation was given as to why this was required at that time.
She also insisted that I attend more frequent reviews based on a poor or barely perceptible pulse in my left leg. I explained that this is a congenital condition I was born with, but this information did not appear to be taken into account.
During the foot check, comments were made about my toenails that made me feel very self-conscious and uncomfortable. My feet have been affected by past trauma and abuse, including repeated fractures to my toes, and this should have been approached with greater sensitivity and care.
I was also asked to be weighed using scales that were not safely accessible. The scales did not have a grab rail, meaning I had to let go of my support in order to be weighed. This put me at risk and made me feel unsafe. Disabled patients should not be placed in situations where their safety is compromised due to inadequate equipment or lack of reasonable adjustments.
Gave all my symptoms and told to go to pharmacy and ask for antibiotics which i did.
They don't do this so called lionwood back to be told go to walk in centre or call back tomorrow.I explained I did this this morning and was sent to the pharmacy. No appointments left today. I never go to the gp and the one time I need to they fob me off with the pharmacy.
... equently I couldn't leave a message on line and was forced to send the message via a text. However the practice has never yet responded to any text that I have sent them this far so I don't expect any sort of response. The IT issues have been ongoing for the last three years....
Very supportive, helpful reminders by text about appointments which is good. Booking an appointment can be difficult, they don't allow you to book at reception, you have to do it by phone and you end up in a long queue that moves very slowly. It's a long process which is a shame but they're very good. Good nurses and good doctors. It's nice and clean and the staff are approachable, and the water machine in reception is good.
It is convenient as I live across the road. I've always had a good relationship with the surgery and I know they're under pressure so you have to be understanding. The referral thing they're doing at the moment is rubbish but I've now been shown how to book an appointment online.
You can never get an appointment. Due to my conditions I need to see a specialist and I can't get in. I had a procedure done and I couldn't get an appointment to get my stitches out so I had to go to the walk-in centre.
Everything is done online now and I'm not computer literate so I can't access any care as I can't use the online services.
... ne is not really working as they can't see the booking schedule or your notes so all they do is fill in the online form which I can do but it's not helpful when something changes or you have a question. They are all nice enough on the the phone but just not very helpful.
I find all the staff helpful and polite.
I can get an appointment okay. I feel well looked after and I am happy with it all
... u're going to see and it makes the continuity of care poor.
However, Dr Fraser is amazing!
I have no complaints. They are very obliging. Sometimes you have to wait a little while for an appointment, I don't really want to wait three weeks, I want the appointment whilst I have the illness.
