... id have PCOS and Ehlers Danlos.
Wasn’t told I had been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos, went in for joint pain a year or so later and was then told.
Just awful service, they are trying to look good on paper, they don’t actually help anyone.
... to tell me that officially. Had to wait another 4 weeks for this appointment. After 40 minutes I went to reception and said I really needed to be leaving and I was then told I'd have to rebook. I said I just wanted to discuss the results so they said they would 'try' to get a nurse to call me but it wouldn't be today. What a waste of my time on my day off work.
Tbf whenever I have needed to see anyone recently I have only been offered phone appointments... at the last one they thought I had been seen f2f and when I said I hadn't they said 'well you should be'..
I try so hard to just not need the service, my family have the same issues. My daughter can't get an appointment for her cervical smear test which is now way overdue and she's been trying for months. My mum had to wait 4 weeks for blood tests after a recent hospital discharge, they called her with what she thought were the results a few days later.. the phone only rang twice, no message left and it took her 2 hours to get back through to them only to be told to call the tests line the following day.. she did that and they said they'd never called her in the first place.
Never had any problems here. Very efficient. I book online, it's much better than the 8 o'clock rush.
Can never get an appointment with the doctor when I want one. We waited 3 hours this morning for them to call us back on the ring back system to get an appointment. Everything is fine once you get in.
... ely because I can't see a doctor here.
They are pressurising their staff because the system doesn't work.
When you are seen the service is good. The doctors seem to know what they're on about. You can be on the phone for up to an hour waiting to speak to the receptionists. The wait is okay for an appointment.
No problems during my visit today but getting in is the problem. My boss helps me make my appointments sometimes because I can't do it online myself. To get this appointment I came to the surgery three times before I got it.
The call back system seems to work better and once you are here it is very good. The doctor is very good too.
I'm a dementia nurse so I know how difficult it is for my patients to fill out the online form. I personally find it okay but my husband wouldn't know how to book an appointment so I do it for him. The staff are really nice, they're under pressure.
Can't get an appointment with a GP, only with a nurse, not even a nurse practitioner. I don't use the online system as by the time you've typed it out all of the appointments are gone, its a load of rubbish. I have more success ringing and using the ring back system which is fairly good. Once you actually get to see someone they're okay but it's the fight to see someone.
... sues.
