No diabetic check
My diabetic check is 2 years overdue, I was last offered one in January 2022. They send web addresses to my phone for things like diabetic check, vaccinations, medications, but I don't have a smart phone so I can't do anything with them.

Outstanding
I sustained an acute back injury and was in awful pain, I accessed the online appointment form at 8am and was contacted by Dr. Hammond who asked me to attend the surgery for consultation.

After a thorough review and diagnosis I had a prescribed treatment plan. Dr.

Hammond was professional, efficient and reassuring.

POD ordering service
this POD service works very well, so why are we getting rid of it because to get any sense from Millwood is impossible.

Impossible to leave message out of hours
Both my parent are in their 90s and have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. They need to get new prescriptions but the surgery has not helped deliver this over the last week.

And now it's closed for Easter nothing is happening at all. I can't even leave a message until April 2 when it opens again.

Feeling really abandoned.

Well supported
They're very good. They come out at very short notice to see the residents at our care home. We're supported really well. Having to email for medication requests is a downside though, it would be good to be able to do it over the phone because it takes the staff away from time they could be caring.

All my Son wanted was a stitch removed
Following Major surgery our Son (who suffers with disability issues)had to stay with us throughout his recovery period, he needed just ONE stitch removed at the specified period of time given by the Papworth Hospital; such a simple procedure for a Nurse but not so simple getting an appointment to carry this out, absolutely disgusted with the surgeries policies, No wonder our hospital A&E staff are working under so much pressure ..

I am old school but have NEVER 'in all my 60+ years' have ever
... experienced such poor health care within our NHS surgeries DoctorNurse care and support As for your ON LINE appointment system, please re-think and give a thought to our elderly AND disabled who are unable to use ON LINE systems!!

Impossible to get an appointment referral
The system is in a word TISH ! Get told ring between 8am 8:15 or 2pm , unable to do do due to work hours, I could take a week off work which i would lose pay for and still not get an appointment .. all i want is a referral to the hospital for arthritis, I live on my own..

one else to do it for me .. Got told by Dr that quote " The government set the times " Rubbish ! I happen to know someone who works fo CQC auditing GP surgeries, told me it's the PRACTICE Manager that sets times !! Can't even
... fill in a referral request form on line ...

its like living in the twilight zone ....

maybe its the time of day ?? Things were much better when you coul turn up and wait your turn to be seen !

Online bookings and phone appointments
So much has to be online at Millwood Surgery, which means it doesn't cater for elderly people like me. I was offered a telephone call to carry out a dietary appointment, which wasn't much use because the doctor couldn't see whether I had lost weight.

Absolutely useless booking arrangements
This booking system needs me to log into their website for 8pm and book an appointment for that day. I work away from home most weeks so I need to be able to book an appointment for a day tha can suit me.

Otherwise I can loose a day trying to book an appointment to find out there is nothing available . I may even loose a weeks.

Please do something about this and at least try and look after the working person.
