I just want control of my money back
There are some good people who care but they don't let me control my own money. They were taking £97 out of my money for 5 days but now they have reduced it to 2 days and the money is still the same.

They have also brought in carers but I need to be able to see where my money is going and on what. I did need the support, but I am clean and don't have people stealing my money now, so would like to have some control back.

It's making me feel very upset as I feel like I am being discrimina
... ted against. It stresses me out and it's all because I signed a bit of paper, I feel like I need review.

I will say they helped me a lot when I needed it and I think they do their best but I feel better now and able to cope and control my own money but no one will let me.

The team have been in several times to lift my elderly mum, after falls. I can't rate this service highly enough, it's brilliant.
Friendly team, so caring and helpful. This service is essential with ambulance waits being so long, plus takes the pressure off the emergency services. I can't shout enough about how fantastic and essential this service is.

Have tried to use this service on two separate occasions to help my father up after falling at home and been told to call an ambulance
I called on two separate occasions as my dad had fallen over. I was told to ring 999 for an ambulance but most likely he would re referred back to SWIFT.

I don’t think this service is fit for purpose. You can’t call an ambulance just to help someone off the floor sometimes there’s more than a 12 hour wait.

Excessively Delayed Response from Adult Social Services to Referral
I was referred to Adult Social Services for a Care Act Assessment in January 2024. I did not receive any response until October 2024, by which time it was too late to be of any help.

Very supportive
My experience with them has been fantastic. I approached them for some advice over the telephone and they helped me in a timely and professional way.

Helped get my dad up after a fall
My dad fell and couldn't get up. Careline called the swift team and they came out and helped him onto his feet and helped him get to bed and made sure he was safe. Thank you so much for your help. My dad said that they were fabulous.

We feel messed around
I feel like we've been messed around with the whole process from start to finish. They've told us that my childs needs fall under Social, Emotional, and Mental Health, but the statutory advice states cognition and learning is the main need.

They tried placing him in an SEMH placement against my parental preference and as a result we missed out on a panel for the placement we actually needed. I was also sent paper work with a different child's name and details on it.

The EHCP was sent to the
... wrong school. Our emails and phone calls are never replied to and when the school have asked them for support they never show up.

Slow, uncaring and much more concerned with their budget than the needs of those they're supposed to be caring for
I've given them as high a rating as I have because of their OT. She is incredible, and I'm so very grateful for everything she's done for me.

However, the inability for anyone else to communicate with each other or myself, to leave disabled people completely housebound and unable to access the community or health services, the incredibly low quality of agency care staff they employ, the amount of time they left a largely bedridden disabled parent without any support, and the extent to which I
... feel they don't care unless they feel they may be legally liable, is abhorrent. These people are the last people I would entrust the vulnerable to.

And when they realise they're doing something that's immoral and indefensible, they just stop replying to you.

Social Care is Norfolk's biggest problem
They should be minus 5 stars. Social Care is Norfolk's biggest problem and why the N&N is like it is.

So many patients come in here who have a Social Worker who doesn't appear to have done anything to have helped them and then when they're in hospital they drop them and it becomes our problem. They don't help people properly as they make decisions about our inpatients without ever seeing them and often ask for duplicated information.

The care homes seem like they're not regulated against pic
... king and choosing the easiest people to take. When somebody comes in here they refuse to take them back even if their care needs haven't changed.

We have no remit to push back to make them take the person so then they're stuck here for months waiting for a new placement.

Looking after elderly in our home
Looking after elderly parent after a fall just before Christmas. Difficult to access services over Christmas Accept SWIFT twice l needed their help with Dad's personal care.

Both times they came up trumps: kind, caring, professional, efficient, respecting our home and nothing too much trouble. I am so grateful for the help given.
