I've been coming here for over 30 years. It's changed. We knew our doctors. Really though, I've got what I needed. I think they're brilliant. I'd give them top marks.

... said it's my responsibility to make sure I have bags, and I do accept that, but when I've done all the things I'm supposed to do and it's still been messed-up I would like it to be sorted out not just dismissed. Also, I was referred over two years ago for weight management and when I called to chase this up I the receptionist told me I was on a waiting list and that my weight isn't an important issue.
I don't think that's right as I know it's not life-threatening but it is affecting my whole health. She then tried to deny she'd said that.
I got in touch directly with where my referral was supposed to have gone and found out they'd never had an email from the surgery. I'm on the list now but will have to wait even more.

Old Mill & Millgates Medical Practice
Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I was sorry to hear that the service provided has not met your expectations. Unfortunately during the mentioned period of care and as discussed there had been some incorrect information supplied by a third party supplier which had caused delays in receiving your prescribed items. Multiple members of my team did all they could to help this situation and minimise the likelihood of reoccurrence. Unfortunately when third parties are involved the process is longer with the possibility of error and time taken to receive increased. A successful resolution was found, though errors beyond the surgeries control were identified. I was disappointed to read your personal comments, though thankfully unique, your opinion is noted. ... A recent call at 8.
00am was followed by an 11.30am visit with Ian (the wonderful paramedic) and I had commenced medication by 2.
00pm. I have no doubt that this probably avoided a visit to A&E and worst case scenario admission.
The culture and efficiency of this practice should be applauded and replicated.

Went above and beyond to get us seen last minute and very reassuring

It's very good, absolutely fine.

The treatment given to me was excellent. I was able to see a Paramedic, within one hour of calling the reception, which was also professionally managed. I was given a thorough checkup and was given antibiotics to treat my condition. Within days, I made good progress and the symptoms of my c

Overall I would say they've been brilliant most of the time but getting an appointment is a nightmare. If you can get your call in early then you can probably get an appointment on the same day but if it isn't urgent you wait four or six weeks.
I'm lucky it's not too far from my house. The care is very good.

It's gone down I suppose. I've been here 26 years.
One of the worst things is communication. We don't get told when doctors are leaving.
Getting an appointment is difficult. You are hanging on.
Once I was on the phone waiting for 40 minutes. I've seen a paramedic and a phlebotomist recently.
For what I saw them for, it seemed appropriate.

I've been coming here over 30 years. It's changed. We knew our doctors. Recently, I've got what I needed. I think they're brilliant. I'd give them top marks.

Excellent. I don't have any problems getting appointments. We get letters, texts, telephone calls. Recently I needed to see someone fairly urgently. I had tests but then I saw a different doctor. There was no continuity.
