Old Mill & Millgates Medical Practice

After moving from another area in Norwich I have been blown away by this GPs service. From the GPS, to paramedics, nurses and phlybotomists. Have always been seen same day wether for children or myself. Never felt fobbed off, and always feel listened too. 5 stars 🌟

Dr Dennis is absolutely wonderful especially with mental health matters. She remembers key points from what I have said previously even if it was months/ years ago and reassures me that my negative feelings are understandable and valid. She explains that I must not blame myself for others negative behaviour and is quick to report other services for not providing an effective response when I needed help. She doesn’t rush me or jump to conclusions and asks ‘what can I do’ rather than railroa ... d me into something. She is non judgmental and I feel like I can tell her anything. She feels more like a friend than a GP (in a professional way) and she explained that I should be proud of myself with how I recognise my needs and ask for help. Went in to surgery and was offered an appointment there and then! Very impressed.

Pretty good, the doctors and nurses are excellent, they look after you well. The hardest thing is getting past the receptionist. Why can't you do advanced bookings? You call on the Wednesday morning and and they're full, they tell you to call again tomorrow, you call again on Thursday and they're full. When do you get an appointment? It's absolutely ridiculous

I've collected my medication, some of it's not ready and I've got something I didn't know I was getting! I think the doctor had said about them a while ago and I forgot.
I didn't realise you can get the blood test forms from here until a nurse told me. I'd previously been ringing up the N&N for them.
Overall the service is quite good. The people are pleasant and helpful.

Works perfectly well, it's clean, the staff are nice, and the times I've been it's very efficient. Now I come in and help the student nurses.
