Roundwell Pharmacy

This is not a nice pharmacy at all, I've been told I cant pick up my medication until 9 am they open at 8am because the area manager doesn't want the staff dealing with my type of people (in recovery). I've been sober 7 years and work in a hospital on a high risk ward I have been checked by the police, DBS, local authority and I am deemed safe to work there.

Yet this small minded chemist thinks its ok to treat me differently to any other customer. They would shout my medicine request and info ... all over the chemist so everyone could here from behind the counter.

Also chatting on the phone about me to another pharmacist in a very rude way so we could all here what was said. Seemed to have an agenda and was borderline angry with the fact I was there.

I just wanted to pick my prescription up like everyone else there. Isn't that what a pharmacy does where else should I be going to? I have read other reviews about this pharmacy and it sees all the good reviews are for covid boosters which are provided by volunteers and nurses most of the time so not technically pharmacy staff which makes sense.

I have now moved to a different pharmacy and have no issues at all the difference is staggering.

Wish I could leave no stars! I am disabled and meant to have my medication delivered.

Not had my repeats in 8 weeks! Called just rings, leave messages and no one calls you back, the mailbox is now full! Emails sent asking for complaints procedure! I have heart failure and nu medication, I have depression and left with out medication for weeks! Literally playing with my life!

I had an emergency prescription from NNUH out of hours and was told to collect from Roundwell Pharmacy. The publicised closing time was 9pm.

I arrived at 8.30pm and although there were 2 people there and the lights were on they refused to serve me.

They eventually opened the door after 15 minutes knocking on the door and said they had shut at 8pm. They refused to even provide the prescription.

Attended for routine COVID Vaccination September 2023

Attended for Covid booster (as CV) staff unmasked had to ask them to wear a mask.Tiny room no ventilation.Given booster is for elderly and vulnerable and NHS website highlights precautions needed for those at higher risk, I would expect safeguards to be in place.
