A saddening experience
On a recent visit to Scrivens Fakenham, I dealt with the manager who was initially very polite, pleasant and knowledgeable. She spoke with a timid and slightly high pitched voice.

I subsequently returned to hear her shouting (in a bullying and aggressive way) at a member of staff in a much different voice; quite extraordinary to discover that it turned out to be the same person.

Choose an optician carefully!
This is yet another chain of opticians where it transpires the store manager is not exclusively based in Fakenham, suggesting that the company is economising by having one person look after more than one store. As it is impossible for anyone, let alone a manager, to be in two places at once, it should be of no surprise to find that this style of operation reflects the quality of service that the customer will ultimately receive.

For the customer, this arrangement simply lacks practicality if t ... he manager is not available in person at all times (with the exception of days off or annual leave) during business hours to speak to. Consider an independent optician that does not rush, there is no pressure selling and certainly no incentivised targets.

Excellent deaf service
Excellent! I'm deaf in one ear and I use the hearing service here. The deaf service here is great!
