The doctors used to know you by name
29th April 2025I've always found it to be a very good surgery, but it's different now. The doctors used to know you by name but it's not the same now. That's progress I suppose. Perhaps we need more money spending on it. They need more staff.

I've got no complaints
29th April 2025I've got no complaints. They always see me when I need. I don't find it difficult to get an appointment. I'm not a fan of the new online system for medication, but I just fill in the prescription form and put it through the letter box. They've been very good to me, and continue to help me.

29th April 2025Yes, it's always been fine for me. They're always trying to be obliging. They always do their best. They have a difficult job, especially the receptionists. I would say the time frame for waiting for an appointment could be better. It would be good if there were more staff here to do the smaller jobs, like blood tests, so we don't have to get the bus to the NNUH. Under the circumstances though, I give it a five.

Brilliant today.
22nd January 2024Brilliant this morning. I saw a doctor. Sometimes you don't get to see a doctor. Today has been effective, he's sorted me out. Very satisfied.

We're very lucky
22nd January 2024I just witnessed another patient being rude to the receptionist and the receptionist dealt with it so well. I've been a patient here 40 years and everyone is so lovely. We're so lucky to have this surgery.

Difficult website, good surgery.
22nd January 2024I find the website a bit awkward to navigate, I'm not sure if it's best to use the NHS app or the GP website. When I come to the surgery it's good. Better communication regarding the dispensary would be good. I sometimes wait for a prescription for 2 weeks, every time I ring up they tell me it's with the doctor and if it's ready they wont let me know.

Very supportive
22nd January 2024All the people are lovely but overworked, which isn't the surgeries fault. Sometimes not good at getting back to you after a phone consultation. They're so much better than when I lived in London. They're doing well and everyone here is nice. The explain things well and with patience when you see them. When I had a break down my GP was incredibly supportive.

22nd January 2024Brilliant. Usually get an appointment online quickly. The phones are always busy. The surgery couldn't be better though.

They do a good job
22nd January 2024They're pretty good. The way they mix online is good, you can email the doctor and get a reply the same day so it works well. If you're waiting for test results it can be a wait. The appointment was running a bit late today too but they do a bloody good job and look after us.

The doctors are working their socks off!
17th January 2024Fabulous surgery! Today is the first time I've ever had a late appointment but the doctors are working their socks off. I have no complaints whatsoever, although any surgery would be better with more staff and more space!
