I've not found any fault
7th October 2024I've not found any fault with it at all. My medication order is fine. They are always available. They are pleasant. I've just had a blood test and they were very good.

I must give it a five!
30th September 2024They've been quite responsive. I've sent them a message on the app and a doctor called me back. I feel very fortunate as I know it doesn't always happen that way. On this occasion I must give it a five!

I can't get an appointment
20th September 2024I can't get an appointment for love nor money. I've got no faith in it anymore. I feel like they just do their best to get you out of the door with some pills. They don't have a clue what you're talking about half the time.

They are really good once you're in
30th June 2024It's pretty good when you call in the morning; they call you back that day with a triage call. The doctor will decide whether you need a face to face appointment. The only issue is waiting a long time on the phone. They are really good once you're in. The practice Nurse is brilliant. The aftercare there is really good.

Should be more face to face appointments
22nd May 2024The GPs always seem to talk to you on the phone, so you end up self-diagnosing. I think there should be more face to face appointments. Although Dr Pearce couldn't have been better!

They do their best
22nd May 2024The surgery do their best and you can see people in-person, but they tend to do it remotely. I sometimes feel that you are passed from one department to another, so you might see a nurse, physio or doctor and I feel that they are not efficient at putting you with the right person. I may be being 'old fashioned' but I want to see a GP. I also saw the physio at the practice and was given a printout of exercises and told I can't have a steroid injection. I'm in pain when I sleep but the exercises can take 6 weeks to work and I was then referred to another clinic who gave me exercises too. I'm thinking I might have to go private for my physio to get additional treatment. I would rate my physio experience at the practice 2/5 stars.

Daughters first blood test
25th February 2024My daughter had an appointment on the 25th feb at Aylsham for her first blood test. She was very nervous. Jessica who we had the appointment with was absolutely brilliant. She was kind, caring, understanding and made the experience so much easier & better. Please pass on our comments and it means a lot to also someone (myself) who is an experienced practice nurse to meet nursing colleagues who are fantastic at their job ! (Also I asked for some water for her & the lady who got it for her was lovely too asking if we needed anything else)

Honest feedback on this GP practice
7th February 2024Having worked in the NHS for 42 years as a chartered physiotherapist, I’m well aware of the challenges of delivering healthcare and although I’ve had some problems in the past, when I’ve brought them to the attention of the practice manger and other staff I have always been responded to and my concerns taken seriously I do think the practice has worked hard to improve its delivery and I’ve found the staff to be friendly and helpful The staff in the pharmacy are great and it never takes the 3 days for my prescription to reach the chemist although I always try to not leave ordering until the last minute I recently travelled to an African country where I needed a GP letter for one of the drugs I take and it was done for me within a day and proved vital to me being allowed to board my flight You can always find fault with any organisation and having read the recent reviews I feel some of them are a little unfair and do not reflect the service I have experienced The NHS has been chronically underfunded for years and it is difficult to meet expectations of patients, when there s a lack of GP and other staff like physios OTs specialist practitioners but I have always been treated with respect and listened to With the addition of a new GP to the practice recently I’ve not had problems either getting a consultation phone call or a face to face when appropriate Healthcare evolves and we have to find new ways of delivering it , so it isn’t always necessary to see a doctor face to face if another staff member can deal with the issue

Fantastic helpful service
1st February 2024I changed to this practice from another Aylsham GP practice where it was impossible to get an appointment and reception staff were unfriendly, uncaring and rude. I'm so glad I transferred here as my experience couldn't be more different. Absolutely no problem in getting a face to face appointment with dr's and having recently had an operation leaving s wound that had needed daily dressing changes I've found all the nurses to be professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this practice.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent experience with our Aylsham surgery. I am very sorry to read that you have needed an operation and follow up dressings but glad to read that you have been able to get support with regard to appointments and that the nursing team have been professional and friendly when you have seen them in relation to your dressings. I will pass on your kind comments to the nursing team as it is always uplifting to hear positive feedback. I wish you well in your recovery. Best wishes Wendy, Practice Manager.
