Excellent
27th July 2023Getting appointments in the first place is tricky, but when you get seen it's outstanding. I tried to book my appointment online but it said "there are no slots", so I call instead which took me around an hour to get through. Once I got through I was able to see someone the same day. All the support I've had from the nurses and GP has been very good and very thorough.

Very confusing.
6th December 2021The surgery seems to have now shut down the forms used to submit information on the website, requesting instead that you call them. When you call them it refers you to the website, then disconnects the call as it can't be transferred.

Incompetent Doctors and nurses
5th November 2021Very poor with treating patients. The Doctors and specialist Nurses don’t actually listen to patients. They do what they want and that’s it. Whatever you say don’t take it for consideration. When The Doctor is not happy with you for sure you will suffer the consequences. One of the specialist nurse don’t even know some of the medical terms. So how will you develop the compliance when they don’t really know what they are reading. Not once but few times. Some doctors are very lazy. Phlebotomist HCA not a good one at all. I think the people who actually know what they are saying are the Receptionists and secretary. They all know their patients more than the actual people who will treat you.

email from website should be open 24/7
6th October 2021The website is really terrible. it gives the message loud and clear 'Go away. We are doing our best to make it impossible for you to find your way through the endless menus and irrelevant info and prevent you completing the email form asking for an appointment'. It also makes no sense that you can only complete the email form (when you find it) during the surgery opening hours.. Why? The point of a website is it is not a manned phoneline ... so why not possible to send the information out of hours? I hate to think how elderly people experience this website - and it can be no surprise that patients go to A and E when they cannot actually contact their GP.

Natalie. Wonder woman!
27th September 2021Natalie the nurse here at this surgery is one of the most compassionate caring people I've met. I suffer with health anxiety. And she listens ! She doesnt fob me off with meaningless jumble! She looks into things that are worrying me and puts me at ease! I have never had a doctor been as compassionate about their job as Natalie. And she deserves recognition for her fabulous she is at her job. Thankyou.

Poor experience
24th April 2021I am a type one diabetic and have been unable to order important repeat medication, I ordered in plenty of time and was not made aware the practice had not issued it. Only found out on a Saturday when I went to the pharmacy to collect and my medication and it was not there. Have no means of contacting the surgery until Monday but you can’t get even get through on the phone and the footfall is turned off for the weekend,

Constant missed diagnosis and lazy doctors.
9th March 2021I have had a deficient in B12 for nearly 4 years- I was unaware of this until I had a recent blood test by this has been in my records but not taken seriously by doctors. I was suffering with depression and anxiety, unbeknownst to me this is the main side effect of B12 deficiency. I have been back and forth to the doctorss for year and they have pushed antidepressants which only last year I begun to refuse as they weren't helping and hadnt since taking them. After my blood test, I begun a course of B12 tablets after a week or so I noticed if I missed one tablet I'd become very depressed & disassociate. I needed a face to face appointment due to the side effects and I had to argue with staff to get appointments and they even lie and told me that my blood had been read by a doctor and were fine...I push and they finally gave me a face to face appointment where I was told my bloods hadn't been looled at and they were still sat on the system with an obvious notification for them to be looked at, the nurse seemed very confused as she has also sent a request to 2 doctors (the ones pushing antidepressants) to authorise B12 injection as althought I been on tables for 3 months my levels were still low, they had denied the request for B12 inject without explanation. The nurse made an independent decision to start my course of injects that day! She was amazing...but trying to get an explaination regarding the doctors previous malpractice is impossible and everytime I try to get answers I'm giving phone appointments with diffent doctors, im yet to speak with either doctor who denied my B12 injection nor have I been given an explanation or apoloy for the receiptionist and patent coordinator both lying and saying my blood had been read when they hadn't. I'm reporting this all with NHS complaints and maybe then I get an explanation to why they ignored my deficiency for 4 years and pushed antidepressants, pretty much refusing any help when I declined them. Push, push and push some more if you want these doctors to care pf your health as they don't care to help unless they can prescribe you a tablet and get you to shut up.
