    We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction on obtaining the prescriptions for pain killers and sleeping tablets. In accordance with local and national guidance the practice has a strict policy about use of medications which cause dependence and are harmful. We are happy to support people to withdraw from these medications recognising that it can be extremely difficult to stop using them. Many people who do stop using them altogether report significant improvements in their wellbeing.

    We\'re sorry you have had a bad experience, we unfortunately cannot perform ear syringing at the surgery as this is deemed no longer safe due to the risk of perforated ear drums and we have not been doing this for some time now. We advise patients to follow the NHS recommendations (link below); https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/earwax-build-up/ This explains why we ask for the wait time as in most cases it clears naturally. As you say we can refer you on the NHS to have microsuction with your consent after your ears have been assessed by one of our HCA\'s or practice nurses but we unfortunately do not have any control over the wait times to have this done.
