Honestly the WORST GP surgery around
31st May 2023Honestly the worst surgery I’ve ever been to , from children to elderly my family have had nothing but negative comments on this place. From my own child that couldn’t see due to BOTH EHES Severely infected , wouldn’t give him nothing , my elderly father in law with two knee replacements wouldn’t even prescribe him painkillers!! Absolutely shocking I’ve been numerous times for different things wrong with me and always been FOBBED OFF and given nothing! Been for mental health and was told by my gp that I need to “ get a grip”!! Can’t wait to change surgery because these are shocking

could be better GPs
25th April 2023There is one GP who is quite rude and abrupt, talks over you rather than listen to your concerns. There has been poor treatment before with this GP where I felt fobbed off and left with more questions than answers. The majority of the reception staff are good, but there is always one who lets the team down.

Fobbed off
24th April 2023Whilst discussing a complex medical issue by telephone, they decended into shouting at me to get their point across, but did not offer a suitable resolution.

terrible experience with 1 gp
3rd March 2023after joining this surgery from another I was quite impressed with communications and waiting times but was disappointed with the attitude of one doctor towards my medication use. The doctor had an issues with my occasional use of sleeping pills and long term use of painkillers. I understand that some people miss use/abuse pain medication but that really does not apply to me The painkillers are controlled/stable with almost no side affects and have given me 70% of what I would class as a normal life ,without them I would be bed ridden/out of work/claiming benefits even Norwich wellbeing advised and encouraged me to leave this surgery I am no longer a patient

We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction on obtaining the prescriptions for pain killers and sleeping tablets. In accordance with local and national guidance the practice has a strict policy about use of medications which cause dependence and are harmful. We are happy to support people to withdraw from these medications recognising that it can be extremely difficult to stop using them. Many people who do stop using them altogether report significant improvements in their wellbeing. -

We\'re sorry you have had a bad experience, we unfortunately cannot perform ear syringing at the surgery as this is deemed no longer safe due to the risk of perforated ear drums and we have not been doing this for some time now. We advise patients to follow the NHS recommendations (link below); https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/earwax-build-up/ This explains why we ask for the wait time as in most cases it clears naturally. As you say we can refer you on the NHS to have microsuction with your consent after your ears have been assessed by one of our HCA\'s or practice nurses but we unfortunately do not have any control over the wait times to have this done. -
Where are all the people?
31st July 2022The NHS is shot. Having said that it is not just the NHS - can't get staff, can't get this can't get that. Where are all the people? I can't remember the last time I needed an appointment but when my wife did all she could get was a nurse. The nurse did what was needed

Doctor was Brilliant
28th July 2022The doctor I saw was brilliant. He wanted me to have a blood test but there was no nurse available to do it, so he did it himself. I find the receptionist very helpful and understanding. Most of the time appointment are punctual. They get prescriptions sorted well and do medical reviews. I am due to have a test after having long covid and was having to got to the hospital for it but I have been called and made an appointment to have it done here which is much more convenient.
