Difficult to get any help
18th May 2021You can't talk to anyone there anymore as they instruct you to use the website. This is a dreadful design as it is not clear where to go for booking appointments. The intro video says it is split into the rooms you see in a surgery.....I see reception and a doctor/nurse in a room so what the heck are all these virtual rooms supposed to mean to a non medical person. I tried to get a repeat appointment this morning for recurring chest infection explaining the pain I am in and the triage call will not happen till at least 24 hours later and then they will decide if they need to see me. When I queried it I just got told to go to the walk in centre if I needed help quicker. I know the NHS is struggling but what is the point of frontline GPs if you can't get to see them and their stock reply is to divert you to another service.

7th April 2021The surgery it self is good, good health professionals and good nurses and the receptionist expect one. This one receptionist not only isn't very helpful but she makes you feel stupid for asking for help. ON 3 occasions now I been trying to speak to her and not only she dismissed my name every time(tried to register for an appointment, my last name is quite hard) she misheard it or something and then I had to wait an hour for my appointment as she didn't log me in, now I am pregnant and I got very upset as the gp asked me to do a first antenatal visit as I have had a miscarriage before I still don't know what to do, and she said they don't do them at the surgery which they obviously do as the gp specifically asked for it, im not very good in confrontation but this lady is just the worst I have ever met. Can't say anything as she will dismiss it. Its just a pity that one person is destroying the surgery I truly believe she should be retrained or not to work in as a receptionist as she is the first contact of the surgery. Just bad

Excellent service
13th March 2021I have made 3 visits to the surgery this year - twice for vaccinations (Flu and Covid) and once for Pericarditis and on each occasion I was highly impressed by the efficiency , organisation and attention to detail that I saw and received

Great Staff - Poor System
3rd February 2021Whilst fully understanding of the COVID implications, it is incredibly frustrating trying to book an online appointment. Even if asked if face to face is required you still wait two days for a screening call. As someone who only goes to the Dr when I really need to (in this case serious pain) having to endure this process just to see a Dr is intolerable. I feel that this will force people to the A&E and an already overwhelmed NHS. All the Staff and Drs are great but they are being let down by a system that although may make their tasks easier, is definitely not to the benefit of the patient!

Online appintments....
30th January 2021Having spoken to a medical person on the phone 2 days after requesting a consultation. I have been told to make a further appt, but guess what you gave to do this online again and as the site says the surgery is closed the form is not available to make the request. They call this progress????

Unable to get my mum to covid19 vacination
18th January 2021My mum was unable to attend the covid vaccination appointment for 16:50 on Sat 16th Jan Due to the car park being full, being turned away by the car park attendant, and told to find anywhere to park. all spots on the street close were taken. Both my mum and myself cannot walk far at all, neither would we risk walking in icy / slushy conditions to queue in the cold in what appeared from a distance to be a covid unsafe queue. Please provide an alternative date and time for my mum's covid vaccination with suitable parking for the disabled. She required me to attend due to her medical conditions

Excellent care and professional attention
28th October 2020I find the surgery has met all my expectations. Despite been in a global difficult situation, I have been listened and attended carefully. I have been followed up about medication or if any further interventions were required. They requested an MRI as an urgent matter and was done within a week. I have been referred to specialists in a timely manner and received follow up calls to make sure I was received the attention needed. I have been given a face to face appointment when appropriate, following social distancing and correct measures of protection.

New to surgery.
8th September 2020I'm new to this surgery, my first contact was with a reception staff member. She was the most helpful and friendliest receptionist I have ever spoken to and I felt instantly at ease. Thank you for being so friendly and helpful. All of my previous surgery's the reception staff have been so rude!
