  The staff here are really good, we have been here a year and it has taken so long to get a first appointment. I find getting a prescription or an appointment is difficult. My mum suffers with her health and continuously needs medicine, where we used to be she could get three months at a time but here she can only have one month and she asked for three months but they won't do it.

  Thank you for your feedback. We are constantly looking at our appointment system and trying our best to offer as many appointments as we can. With regards to prescriptions, our Doctors will not issue 3 months at a time for many reasons including clinical safety, but we can offer you automatic ordering, so when you collect your medications please leave your repeat slip with our dispensary team and they we re-order the medications for you.

• The GP was intimidating

  There was a changeover of doctors at our practice which we were not told about which affected my husband’s anxiety when we were told to visit a doctor we hadn’t seen before. My partner didn’t get a chance to explain the reason for our visit as we walked in. The GP was intimidating and addressed issues such as my husband’s ear hairs before we even got a chance to speak. When we finally began to discuss the reason for our visit the doctor kept shouting over us or tried to speed up my partner’s answers rather than listening to him. Eventually my husband became so anxious I had to speak for him. He just had a heart attack and didn’t need the extra stress.
