Staff are amazing!
12th January 2018The people who delivered and all the midwives at N&N were brilliant both times and really knew their stuff. We have one child on MLBU and one in the delivery suite. The staff were amazing both times and can’t fault them at all. MLBU is a lot calmer. We only got there with 20 minutes to spare on our second, which is why we ended up in the delivery suite. All the staff on the ward are really nice and helpful. Our only gripe is that they say they’ll be back in an hour, and come back 4hrs later, but we get that they have so many people to get round and that’s just how it is.

Less pressure on breastfeeding
12th January 2018I’ve had both my children there. My daughter in MLBU a few years back and my son more recently in the delivery suite. The care I received was generally very good, my only negative is with staying on the ward. The staff put a lot of pressure on you to breastfeed. I’m pro-breastfeeding and wanted to anyway, but not everyone does. I remember one very heated discussion between one of the mum’s and a midwife. It didn’t feel like very person-centred care. It should be each individual mother’s choice. Promote it, sure, but don’t pressure people. New mums feel enough pressure as it is.

Efficient service
12th January 2018Doc referred me, appointment was quick. Staff are very good and friendly. It's a very efficient service. I do worry about the hygiene of the hospital, I've noticed it's not the cleanest place.

Good service
11th January 2018Had a problem with my throat and vocal cords. I was in agony. They wouldn't give me any painkillers for a while, I don't know why. Overall, they did sort the issue, and it's not been a problem since.

Quick service
11th January 2018I was admitted to hospital with kidney stones. It was very very painful. I went in for a day treatment and was sorted out and ready to go quicker than I thought.

Care is fine
11th January 2018The care is fine, they do the best they can considering how stretched the staff are. I think they built the hospital in a stupid place, it's not easy to get to.

Missed my fathers symptoms
11th January 2018My father had prostate cancer and was having radiotherapy. Treatment was fine, and going okay. He began to complain about other symptoms, and they put it down to damage done by the radiotherapy. It turned out that my father had bladder cancer also. By this point it was at a developed stage, and too late.
