• Continuity of care was lost

  A family member of mine moved from another county to Norfolk and was being prescribed medication for mental health issues. He had to have a review before he could get a prescription. It was difficult for him to get an appointment and continuity of prescription and care was lost.

• No spaces left unless life threatening

  I had a cough which lasted several weeks and was causing me some discomfort. I rang up the centre to book an appointment. After spending 35 minutes in the phone queue, I was informed that there wasn’t any spaces left for today unless it’s considered life threatening. No joke, if it was life threating I would call 999 not my GP.

• Very welcoming

  Since moving to Sprowston and moving doctors surgery I have been made to feel welcome and comfortable each time and if they can't accommodate me they always fit me in at the Thorpe Surgery.
