  The doctors and nurses are always very good. The only problem is that sometimes getting an appointment can take time, sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes. You used to be able to walk in to book an appointment and sit in the waiting room.

  I go for regular appointments and it's good when you get to see a doctor. I get on well with the receptionists and have been coming since the surgery opened.

  No problem making appointments. The phones are good, sometimes I have to wait 10-15 minutes. It's a really great surgery, I've been a patient here a long time.

  Well i went for the 13th day phone call option...or i could have seen a doctor in person in 23 days time... and the reason.. stomach pains... something not treatable over the phone...!

  When you make your first call the receptionists are exceptional. You can always see a doctor. During covid nothing has changed for emergency appointments. You get a choice of face to face or phone. Can't exaggerate enough how good they are. They're pro-active so you don't have to chase anything and this has all been consistent for years.

• Appointment notification

  On the afternoon of Friday the 4th June 2021 I received a text message confirming an appointment for 2:15 on Monday 7th that I hadn’t made, I replied to the text saying I hadn’t made any such appointment, I never received a reply. As I was out for the day i called the surgery when I arrived home to enquire why I had this appointment, to be told by the telephonist that it was in regarding my diabetes!!!!! I informed the person on the phone that I haven’t been diagnosed with diabetes. I later received another text stating that the appointment was regarding recent blood test results. I have been particularly anxious over the weekend and quite annoyed that the surgery didn’t call or text me to say that I should contact the surgery to discuss my blood test results first rather than just tell me that I had diabetes, I got the impression from the telephonist that I was already aware that I had been diagnosed with diabetes!!!! On top of all the stress and anxiety over the past year I felt that the way in which this has been handled was very unprofessional and caused me more unnecessary stress. I’m also not impressed that a ‘telephonist’ should be discussing my private and confidential health records, access to my health records is a private contact between my GP and myself.

• Getting worse and worse

  The surgery is already bad enough, with 2 week waits for appointments and 30 min phone calls to make that appointment, and never following up on diagnostic tests, but the attitude of my GP is appalling. He will not listen, he will not read information sent to him and apparently I am inventing the NHS Right to Choose process. Autistic awareness is also zero as far as I can see. Have left more than one appointment in tears of frustration.

  I've only been registered with the surgery a couple of years but in comparison to previous surgery ( out of Norfolk) this surgery is brilliant. I don't identify as one gender. The surgery staff know me well as a patient and are supportive. I have with their help linked up with various LGBTQ+ support groups. Its good to feel accepted for who I am by my GP practice as this wasn't the case where I used to live.

• Good interpretation service

  When we first used the surgery we did not speak English. The surgery staff made sure that there was always an interpreter available which was very helpful. We are looked after very well here, I have many medical problems so I am seen quite a lot at the surgery. The doctors are so kind to me.
