Acle Medical Partnership

Having recently joined Acle Medical Partnership, I wanted to share what has been an absolutely outstanding experience.

Before registering, I had heard consistently positive things about the practice, and my experiences over the past month have completely confirmed those recommendations.

I would particularly like to recognise two members of staff.

Firstly, Dr Jacob, who provided one of the most positive GP consultations I have experienced. His clinical knowledge, professionalism, kindnes ... s and excellent bedside manner were immediately apparent. What particularly impressed me was the relaxed, unhurried nature of the consultation. At no point did I feel rushed. He listened attentively, explained things thoughtfully and made me feel genuinely valued as a patient. I am extremely grateful for his expertise and compassionate approach.

Secondly, Debbie H in reception. What an absolute asset to the practice! Debbie has been welcoming, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and exceptionally kind. Nothing has seemed too much trouble. Her warmth, enthusiasm and willingness to help make such a difference. She is a wonderful example of how exceptional reception staff can positively influence a patient's experience.

Having experienced a very different standard of service at previous GP practices, the contrast has been remarkable.

It is genuinely refreshing to encounter a surgery where professionalism, kindness, compassion and patient-centred care are so clearly demonstrated.

Although relatively new to the practice, I already feel fortunate to be registered here.

My sincere thanks to Dr Jacob, Debbie and the wider team. Your dedication and kindness are greatly appreciated.

An outstanding practice that I would wholeheartedly recommend!

Misdiagnosed

I went to the GP with sight problems and was given a form to fill in my blood pressure as she told us she was going on holiday for two weeks. I still had problems so I went to the opticians who told me it wasn't a sight issue, it was my brain. I went back to the doctors another two times and was dismissed. Finally I went to the hospital and was told I'd been having a stroke for the last three weeks! There was a huge clot on my brain. I'd been having rare but typical symptoms that were missed by ... the GP.

Breach GDPR and hand your details out to strangers. Don't call when they say they will. Provide misinformation. The worst GP around.

I am not prone to leaving reviews for anything, let alone NHS Services, but my father has recently moved to this practice as he lives in a local care home, and this surgery has been incredible! They are so kind, and very responsive. I cannot fault them. I just wish I came under their catchment area, as it is not my experience with my own GP surgery.

It's 100%. I always request it over Acle. There is a particular phlebotomist here that we request. I couldn't fault it today. The appointment was quick and on time. They're always good here. They could do with a few more chairs in the waiting room.

The best phlebotomist around! Very good, very nice. All the staff are nice.

It's fine. Nice people here, pleasant. The care is excellent by doctors and nurses. The only bugbear is that there are not a lot of parking spaces!

I collect my pills here once a month and they are always ready for me. I have to remember to reorder each time. There is never an issue on collection though

It's fine. I come up to drop my prescription off and it all gets sorted out. I get appointments here and it all goes smoothly. It's difficult to see a doctor; sometimes you see a nurse and I'm normally okay with that. I do think it's all going online too much for people my age. We feel like we're being left behind.
