I needed an emergency appointment and I got one straight away, within two days. I was happy with that and they were good.

I had an appointment during COVID which I missed because there were still restrictions, the vaccine had not been rolled out and I wasn't sent anything outlying their safety precautions. I was also helping a vulnerable friend who I could not risk taking anything back to.
They have now taken me off the list and will not see me so I am left without a dentist.

Been a patient for years and since covid they don't want to know unless you go private.I can not afford to go private and i have payed NH'S all my life.

I went for a check-up recently, and they saw that I needed a filling and were able to do it the same day. Whenever I call up I can get an appointment the same day or next day.

I was struck off this dentist 3 years ago when it was still Covid time and I had a new born baby. I had no warning and when I tried to talk to them about it they were not interested.
I was a single mother with a new born baby and no one to look after her, so could not get to an appointment. I suffer with my mental health and have been trying for 3 years to try and get a NHS dentist.

I have gone private now at a different dental practice as they wouldn't see me for tooth ache and said that they didn't have anyone to see me. When I did go in the past, they didn't clean my teeth and I had no x-rays taken.
I then ended up with an abscess. Now that I have gone private I have received much better care.

From walking in the practice and booking an appointment it has been faultless. Reception, dentist, dental nurse, reminders, everything has been excellent and of course the treatment i needed has been perfect and pain free. Thank you to a very professional service.

Appointment cancelled by letter. I phoned to reschedule to be told the dentists are self employed and only doing private. No warning; suddenly no longer NHS after all these years. Am furious. We're living in the 19th century. I'll start looking for my tooth pulling kit.

... he dentist has now gone private so has no obligation under the NHS.
Strangely though I had a letter from them this year offering me a private dental plan stating he only recently ended NHS treatment in 2023? At the time I complained both locally and to head office about this stating they should have an obligation to carry out re-treatment within 12 months. They took ages to reply when finally in November, all I was offered was my original payment back.
I have since registered with another private dentist where I have just received a costing of almost £1700 to put things right plus a further £250 I had to spend on emergency treatment at another dentist over xmas to remove a tooth that had become infected. It seems today in dentistry that monetary value is now more important than the patients welfare! Prior to this I had been a patient at Mydentist with for about 20 years without any issue and was always treated well.

Really bad workmanship and pain , left with no pain relief and only half the job completed and had to go home to get the roots extracted . Paid a bill if £89 first over the phone plus a further £125 to have half the job done .These people are BUTCHERS
