  Paramedics stayed with me for 6 hours waiting for an ambulance,they were fantastic

• Releasing emergency crews

  My daughter-in-law has a shoulder which dislocates from time to time. Because of having a baby, then covid, she has not had the surgery she needs. On Wednesday night it dislocated and would not go back in. She was in lots of pain. 111 advised her it would be 338minutes for a call back. Again she tried to self manage but with no success. On calling 999 she was advised it could be 10hour wait for an ambulance. She was able to mobilise this time, so I decided to take her to A&E. Remarkably, the shoulder popped back in enroute to the hospital! On reflection she didn't need an emergency vehicle and she didn't need A&E. A first responder vehicle with gas and air may have been able to resite the shoulder at home and then I could have taken her to a walk in xray clinic or by appointment. I'm sure there are some simple ways we could free up services and help relieve some of the pressures.

  Called 999 and they were outside in no time! They sat outside for two hours - carrying out lots of tests and giving advice and checking everything was okay. They were just incredible.

  I called an ambulance as I had fallen and unable to get up. The same thing had happened previously and ambulance staff were excellent and knew how to operate the necessary equipment to get me up. However these guys had to call for ridiculous amount of back up because they did not know how to use the equipment to get me up. It was a farce in the end as we had fire staff as well to get me up and into the ambulance. The care was excellent but it was a ridiculous amount of people when had they had used the equipment correctly it would have just taken the two ambulance crew.

  The 3 ambulance staff were absolutely excellent. They were very efficient but also caring and reassuring about my condition. I am very grateful for their skill and kindness right until I was admitted to A&E at the QEH, Kings Lynn. Thank you all very much.

  I had chest pain so the paramedics were called out - I can't say anything bad about them at all, they were fantastic and got me straight to hospital

  I passed out and fell at home on Friday 20th December, the ambulance was called and arrived in 20 minutes. The paramedics checked me and decided to take me to the hospital. I was immediately taken inside the emergency centre and was checked within a few minutes.

• Delay with no notification

  There was a delay in ambulances on the day we called, but we weren't notified of this. My friend needed to get into the N&N, but no ambulance was available for 6 hours. We were left on tenterhooks. It's common courtesy that they should have notified us of the delay. The staff themselves are okay but they're so understaffed and under-equipped. We would have bought him in ourselves if it was possible, but then that only would have put strains in other parts of the hospital and would have taken longer to actually get on to the ward.

  My husband had kidney stones, I called 999 and the ambulance were with us in about 5 minutes. The paramedics took good care of him and got him straight into hospital

  I was unwell for three weeks running so phoned 111 and they called an ambulance. The ambulance arrived in 20 minutes and carried supplies on the vehicle so I was able to get the antibiotics I needed quickly.
