Struck off after 18 years
20th June 2022My wife and I have been NHS patients at this practice for around 12-15 years. We went for our first check up for a long time due to the pandemic and because my wife is immunosuppressed due to a medical condition. During our check-ups, we would normally have a scale and polish if necessary or another appointment for it to be done under the Band 1 charge. We were both told this would only be possible under the Band 2 charge which is very expensive for two pensioners on a limited income. A few days later, we received a letter telling us we had both been removed from the dental list and will no longer be treated. I am particularly concerned for my wife due to her medical condition as issues with her oral health could have a very serious impact on her overall health.

Professional care and compassionate treatment
23rd November 2018I had to visit the dental practice several times over the last two weeks with an extremely painful jaw and molar tooth. Twice the dental practice were able to accommodate me last-minute, as an emergency appointment. My tooth was beyond saving and I was advised it should be extracted. I have a real fear of the dentist, embedded from childhood, but both Mr Noble and the Dental Nurse were extremely patient with me, explaining everything along the way. I feel very fortunate to have access to such great dental care and of course access to local anaesthetic too! I would highly recommend this dental surgery and I am disappointed to note each time I visit that frequently over 80 patients every month do not attend pre-booked appointments which is a waste of NHS resources and means fewer appointments available for people who need them.

Struggling to get dentists
16th October 2018I think they are struggling to get dentists. My new one left after a few months. They have good disabled access but can't register my husband there at present which is a shame. The dentists are all good though.

Good but more understanding for families
21st May 2018I generally find them to be very good but there was one time when I turned up one minute late with my two children and they wouldn't see us. They are always happy for you to wait and we had a triple appointment of ten minutes each so you would think we could have still been seen. It's my own fault for being late but a bit more compassion for families would be nice. Otherwise they are spot on! I find their text reminders to be very handy although I haven't been receiving them lately.

Ridiculous waiting list
8th January 2018There's 400 people on the waiting list for this dentist. I don't think there's even 400 people in Brundall? No NHS dentists nearby. I was waiting over a year before I found an NHS practice that would take me as a patient.
