Needs to review its access standards. How do you actually get an appointment in this surgery?
8th May 2025The standards here are shocking. Reception is clueless and seems to want to avoid helping at all costs. Everything is too much trouble. When something does get done its usually incomplete / wrong. Still cant get an appointment for my issue as I missed the release of the next block of appointments. I bet reception can get one though.

Rude, difficult, lack of patient care
31st December 2024No care provision whatsoever. Make it almost impossible to contact them and when you eventually do they do the absolute bare minimum. Neglect basics like medication reviews and blood pressure checks.

When I was booked a month ago they had told me it was a GP appointment I was expected to see the GP. Instead of the GP I had been seen by Nurse Practitioner I have been waiting 5 months for an appointment with the GP
5th September 2024I have been struggling with severe back pain, unable to go to work. The nurse practitioner I had seen today had not been very helpful. He was not listening to any of my concerns. I was getting quite emotional because of his response and despite my emotions he had no empathy towards. He did not even offer a tissue or say anything to comfort me.

Never see the same doctor
31st August 2024You can never see a doctor, and never the same doctor twice. I'm fed up with it. Id have to be really poorly to try to come. I want to be able to see the same doctor every time I come.

I needed an appointment
31st August 2024I don't think it's very good. I wasn't able to make an appointment, I was told to ring up again the next day. I was struggling to urinate and it felt like it should have been treated as a more urgent matter. I wasn't given any advice about what to do, just to call again the next day.

Phone takes a long time
31st August 2024When you phone for an appointment it takes so long. It could be quicker over the phone. But it was quicker on Monday, they need more receptionists.

Never had problems
31st August 2024The lady we saw was so pleasant, we came by to drop off a thank you note. We don't come that often but we don't have any problems with the surgery. Everyone's under pressure. They've always treated us okay, we're lucky it's here.
