This is an area that we are working hard on improving, and with the recent addition of 3 new GPs as well as other specialist staff, we hope that patients will see the improvements soon.     Dear Patient Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. I am glad that you have found that you have always received the care you have needed when you have needed it. I understand that you would prefer to see a GP, however - you have hopefully been signposted to the most appropriate clinician for your presenting symptoms. Our Multi Disciplinary Team are supported by our GPs, and this ensures that appointments with GPs are protected for patients who's problem can only be dealt with by a GP. I hope that explains accurately why you may have seen a Nurse as opposed to a GP at times. But if you do wish to discuss it further please do not hesitate to contact me.
