Couldn't see a dr
6th October 2022Last year my wife was having problems and couldn't get see a doctor, and consequently she died of lung cancer.

Difficult to get through on the phone
6th October 2022I tried from 8:30 constantly to call and never got through, I tried for a whole hour. You have to hang up and re-dial. When I did get through to the message 3 times it cut me off. When I did get through there was no appointments, the soonest they could give me was 3 weeks away. Quite often you can see a nurse or paramedic but not a GP.

Friendly staff
6th October 2022Very good, everything's on time and the staff are friendly. The phone system is a long wait, a shorter wait would be good.

I've been a patient here 30 years
6th October 2022Pre-covid i'd have given the surgery 5 stars, but getting through on the phone takes a while now, sometimes i've had to wait around 45 minutes.

Always found them very good
6th October 2022The phones can be difficult to get through, I spent an hour last week - but my overall view is I have always found them very good - a few more Drs would be great. My husband is very poorly at the moment and I feel if one particular Dr is not here then no one else will deal with him. I do have one complaint - I asked for a visit and one Dr at the surgery said in a telephone call "I don't see why we should come out he should be dead" The nurse in my room with me at home heard him say this. I have not had an apology from the Dr as yet, but I have to say the Practice Manager has been good dealing with this.

I feel well cared for
6th October 2022They're very efficient, I feel well cared for. They're very friendly and professional. The staff are great. David the nurse practitioner is very good and very fast acting, and Pauline the phlebotomist was brilliant, as are the reception team. When I call to get an appointment it can be difficult to get through on the phone, it was especially hard during the pandemic.

They need more Drs to see people
6th October 2022If I get to see Dave then it's a good experience. He knows my situation. The surgery have lost my prescription twice though I am not happy about that. I think to improve then we should get to see a Dr sooner rather than later - they need more Drs to see people. Also they could answer the phone quicker - its at least 20 minutes on hold.

Nurses are excellent
6th October 2022In my experience they are very good, the nurses are excellent. I don't think they have enough telephone lines though, that would be an improvement

Really Kind
6th October 2022Reception are marvellous, most are good - really kind. It would be nice to get an appointment when you want one. It is usually a wait of two weeks unless it is urgent. I think they need more same day appointments. My husband is in Beeches, they are working very well with them and him.

Didn't have to wait long
6th October 2022The nurse was very friendly. I've always been fairly happy here, it's a definite improvement on where I was before, I didn't have to wait long for my appointment. They do they best they can. More face to face appointments would be good.
