Poor waiting times for appointments

I was referred to Town Close Clinic for my mental health assessment, I agreed. They needed to do mycotherapy but there was a 9 month waiting list. I asked the community team but they too had a 3 month waiting list. I had enough and ended up getting private treatment.

Dear Anonymous Several clinical services use Town Close Clinic for appointments and so without knowing which service you were referred into we are unable to direct you to a specific team leader to share your experiences. Feedback is however valuable for us and we would therefore encourage you to make contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Team: pals@nsft.nhs.uk or tel: 01603 421191 BT Freephone: 0800 279 7257 (calls from mobiles and other providers may charge) between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday - outside these hours you can leave a message on the PALS voicemail which we aim to respond on the next working day. Quote reference HW 16-18 You can tell our PALs colleagues more about your situation and they will be able to give you advice or liaise with the service you are accessing to see how we can best support you.
