  I've had back problems and they referred me for skin cancer. It's very difficult to get an appointment but the nursing staff are excellent, you will seldom see a GP though.

• Final straw after lost documents

  They lost my daughters red book. She'd had vaccinations, but they didn't record them so she had to have them all done again. That was the final straw after already having poor care there. We have since switched.

• Refused to prescribe medication I want

  I see a private consultant and was advised to use a certain cream. The surgery refused to put this cream on a prescription for me as they told me it was too expensive. I had to get a private prescription which cost me a lot of money. I told my GP that this cream works for me but they wouldn't change their mind.

• They are learning

  When it comes to dealing with my son who has ASD condition they are definitely learning. He now has the same nurse who he sees when he visits, and it's in the same room, which helps. They didn't tell me about it, I had to find out myself, but he is entitled to an annual health check up which is good because it's been useful.

  I don't like the book in system (call in the morning for a morning appointment and call late morning for an afternoon appointment) but since having a baby there isn't a time that they haven't been able to see us.

  Good morning, Thank you for your lovely comments! I just wanted to clarify that you should be able to phone in the morning for anytime of the day. If you leave it until later there will always be the risk that we will have reached full capacity depending on the demand. Best wishes Christina

  ...but this is the same everywhere. I don't have a problem with the care. It's just the wait. I had breast cancer and they got me in straight away and were very good.

  ...and leaves a lot to be desired. I've been trying to change but can't. Just the way they are. Nothing is ever done. My chemist always has to call them to chase things up. There is one doctor that's wonderful but you can never get in to see him because everybody wants him. Twice I needed a house call and couldn't get one.
