I find it very easy to see a doctor. I just call up and ask and I get seen quickly. They are very helpful and very good. I spoke to a doctor on the phone and they referred me to Cromer Hospital for a scan. The hospital called me later that same day and said they had a cancelled appointment and I had it done then! I've had lots of problems recently and they've coped really well with me. It's a very good service and I feel very lucky.

Previously I've called to try and make an appointment but I don't like to wait on the phone. So I just walk in and the receptionist makes me my appointments. I'm pleased with that. They're pretty good. They always get me sorted. No qualms here.

I just moved to the area and went to my old practice every 3 months for ear suctioning. When I enrolled here I saw the nurse right away and asked to have my ears suctioned. She referred me to Hear For Norfolk who made me an appointment and did a great job. I'm really impressed about how smoothly it all went.

I call to make appointments and it works great for me. I have routine check-ups that are booked regularly. I've never had a problem with them. Can book in with a doctor when I need to. No issues at all.

I usually phone and ask for an appointment, I don't have to wait long on the phone, especially if I call in the afternoon. Sometimes I do have to wait 2-3 weeks for the appointment, but it is face-to-face. Overall they are a good surgery. I really like Dr Fraser.
I went twice in 2 weeks in agony was told it was sinusitis keep taking medication 2 weeks I was transferred to addenbrooks in Cambridge with ruptured aneurysm and brain haemorrhage! Was there for 3 weeks

I have never met my own gp. I have mental health problems and physical. I registered in 2021. No health check, i had to ask for cholesterol test, then was questioned why, no family history taken.
I applied for help, needed support, was turned down because of the lack of it, wanted to Appeal, and 10 weeks later still waiting for a report, and now have missed the Appeal.
I received a phone call approx 10 weeks ago to say it would be done, and I'm still waiting.
4 weeks ago for 11 days unable to carry out basic tasks at home, in awful pain, messaged surgery, i got a reply 11 days later. In the meantime i contacted 111, who kept telling me to contact gp, which i had done. The third time i rang 111, they were sending a Ambulance, but they didn't have any!
A week later i had a appointment already booked so went.
I was seen, examined, cried, and assured a xray referral, and report.
I went away thinking we are getting somewhere finally. A week later a nurse rang to update my meds, i mentioned the xray and examination. There was actually no record of either, because the gp put nothing on the screen! The only thing was the pain killer prescribed.
I felt bad for her, she was dumbfounded, and likewise. Absolutely disgusting.
I also hadn't been referred for a xray. To say all this complete lack of care is affecting my mental health is a understatement. I have been seeing a physio, who was going to refer me for another xray, but didn't because the gp i saw was. Apparently he has now left!
Its no wonder people feel they have nowhere to turn to. Im about to give up.
My mother who is 84 contacted the surgery Dec 13th with pain and discomfort which she was prescribed Codamol 6 a day she is cealaic and this caused her to become constipated which she then had to ask for help still in agony she went back 5 times with the same pain and discomfort with not a word of lets investigate. It came to March and finally she was taken to NNH to investigate so she had a camera down to look into her stomach nothing there. Two weeks later the Dr finally sent her again to NNH where they did MRI scan which has shown Cancer of the Pancreas which has spread to her liver and stomach. We had a meeting with a nurse at the hospital to say there is nothing can be done prognosis 3mths to live. No warning. She came home to my brothers to rest and the Dr said he'd come and visit by that eve he changed his mind as we were a field away from the cut off point of the boundary to Paston surgery borders. I am devestated at the lack of care my mother has been shown she did clinical trials for the NHS she has been an amazing care giver to all. I feel so let down.
Paston Surgery has been the practice that I have attended for most of my lifetime. I have seem many changes over the years. Generally speaking, the practice has been excellent. Yes it can and is difficult to get an appointment especially when there is a urgent or genuine need for one. The Drs ( some in particular) are A*, they listen, are respectful, understanding, good listeners, and are patient with you, especially if you have a catalogue of health problems like it is in my situation. I do wish, however, that the GP’s don’t keep moving out of the practice, especially when some are a rare breed who are faultless, who treat you like a friend and patient and not a number like other institutions do. My only other grip is with the receptionists, (particular ones) they can be very unprofessional and are reading your medical notes, and giving advise, when they are not medically trained to do so. There role is admin, not to be a doctor! So they should not be asking the patient what the problem is, otherwise, what is the point in asking for a Drs appointment when they are wanting to know all the ins and outs of things. Otherwise, I cannot fault the practice atall. Keep up the good work!

It's absolutely great. I send photos online and then easily get prescriptions. I don't have to waste time sitting in a waiting room. I prefer this new system. The doctors are always thorough with their responses. Recently the doctor took the time to explain over the phone how to do a rapid covid test on my baby. That was really helpful.
