Always happy with service
30th August 2019I've been a patient here for over 30 years and have always been happy with the service. Being able to use the online services for prescription ordering works really well for me.

Hard to get an in-person appointment
30th August 2019I have a long term health condition so am more often than not at the hospital than here! The triage service means that you do eventually speak to a doctor but it's not the same as seeing one for an in-person appointment. When we are sick it's usually an emergency. I know it's a general NHS problem but we have seen the surgery change over the years. I don't use their online services as I don't have internet at all at home. I have used Aylsham surgery on the odd occasion but I prefer to come to Reepham as it's only down the road.

Generally good
30th August 2019Generally a really good service, I have used Aylsham surgery for appointments too with the practice nurse - she was brilliant. I use online services and find it helpful as I don't come to the surgery that often.

Helpful staff and triage system
30th August 2019I find the receptionists and phone triage system helpful overall - I have been able to be prescribed medication over the phone before this way. However, if I want a non-urgent appointment the wait (2-3 weeks) seems too long to me. I assume the problem is not enough staff, they probably need another doctor? The numbers of patients have increased but the number of doctors has not. I use the asthma clinic with the nurse which works well. The dispensary are very helpful. I've never used online services but I may look into it - I used to use it to book appointments but now that we can't book them online there seems very little point using the online app. Loads of people miss their appointments; could the surgery have a board showing the number of missed appointments each week to raise awareness?

Phone triage works well
30th August 2019I'm generally satisfied - the phone triage works well as you are at least able to speak to someone on the day. I go to Aylsham for appointments sometimes - I'm happy to travel if I'm feeling well enough. I've chosen to not use the online services, I live close enough to just pop in.

Generally good
30th August 2019Generally they are a good surgery - problems are solved quickly, the phone triage system works well. I am able and happy to use Aylsham surgery for appointments when needed too. I didn't know that online services was an option. The staff can be a little hit and miss - the regular doctors are great but some of the locums aren't as good.

Getting antibiotics can be difficult
30th August 2019If your issue is non-urgent then you can be waiting a long time to hear back from a Doctor. They now don't issue antibiotics until a sample has been tested; on a Friday this means you could be left for the weekend without any medication. I think that's wrong. Over the weekend this may push people to other services like A&E - but what if you can't drive? I usually pop in to collect my prescription, I don't use the online services as I live close enough. The building work to the surgery is a little prolonged but it hasn't affected me personally. I would be happy to go to Aylsham for an appointment if necessary but only if I felt well enough to drive.

Good triage system
30th August 2019I'm generally happy with the service here; it's slower to get an appointment than in the past but that's an NHS issue. I order my monthly prescriptions online which works well. I got triaged once to Aylsham practice - I'm more than happy to go there as I work in-between Reepham and Aylsham. The triage system works really well, they're always quick to call you back

Really quite annoyed!
6th September 2018I book in to have my travel jabs. I arrive there, go into the nurse's room, and she tells me that she can only give me one out of the three jabs I need, and that to have the other three, I'll need to book in with a private travel clinic! Why wasn't I told about this beforehand? In the past, they offered the full range of jabs. Why has this changed? I go to reception to get a record of all my vaccinations, and the receptionist gives me an incomplete copy! This means that I'm wasting EVEN MORE TIME because I'm now having to chase down my complete record. Simply not good enough.
