Triage service
5th September 2019You don't always get to see a doctor - there is a triage service and you may end up seeing a practice nurse. They're generally able to provide emergency appointments but you have to be assertive with them!

Lovely surgery
31st October 2018It's a lovely surgery here, no matter what anyone else says about it.

Could smile more
31st October 2018I'm happy with the service in general, however I think that some of the staff could be more approachable and smile more, particularly when they're herding us about in the flu jab queue!

I would give 10 stars
31st October 2018Why isn't it possible to give 10 stars? They're very nice people here, always helpful, always very efficient. They will let you know when your appointment is, they'll send text reminders or call you up.

Sometimes doctors don't listen
31st October 2018It's difficult to get appointments to see a GP sometimes. I also did have a problem once because the doctor didn't believe me when I said I was ill, they said that I wasn't. But I obviously knew that I was ill, they should listen to the patient. But other than those few incidents I've had no problems. My husband has had no problems and would rate them as excellent.

Problems with the system
31st October 2018I hadn't used any of the NHS for 15 to 20 years, but now I'm older I use it much more. I'm happy with the people at this surgery and the service I get, but the system is the problem.

Still don't know whats happening
31st October 2018I've had no problems here at the surgery up until recently. I have had skin cancer previously and I was concerned about a mole. I went to the GP and they said that they could remove it here at the surgery but they didn't think it was cancerous. But then at reception they said that they could remove it at the surgery. I saw another GP who said that no but i was then told by someone else could do it. But then they said they couldn't do it because they didn't have the eyesight. I have been offered an appointment at the JPUH and the QEH but in the past I have gone to Cromer or Norwich but they no longer seem to do it there. Transport is an issue as I don't drive and its not just the once i'd have to go, it would be several occasions and that is just so difficulty and I have been in limbo for about three months now still with no appointment. They don't think it is cancer but i want it checked but apparently if I'm not a priority I get sent to the other hospitals.

The system is not working
31st October 2018My honest opinion is that the staff are very friendly here and nice enough but the systems just not working. You have to have all those telephone appointments now so it makes it difficult to see a GP.

Generally good
31st October 2018Generally they are good here but it can be frustrating. About two months ago I had an accident in the garden and cut my finger, it was ok and i could treat it myself but i wanted a tetanus update. I rang to arrange an appointment and was told that i would get a call back. They called back the next day and i was booked an appointment for two weeks time. When i went to the appointment i was told they couldn't do it as at my age i didn't need one and it only now comes in a triple vaccine and they said if it was that bad i should have gone to A&E. It just felt like a wasted appointment really.
