  It has taken 2 and a half days to be able to speak with a medical professional. Medication has eventually been prescribed, but not offered an appointment, so still no wiser about possible causes of illness. The prescription was then sent to a closed pharmacy.

• Deaf despair

  Still big problem seeing GP, they won’t get BSL Interpreters in for Deaf patients. Been awful since April 2019. Really serious health issues, very upsetting but they won’t get Interpreters. Not equal access. What can we do? In tears

  Thank you for leaving your feedback, I am very sorry that you have experienced ongoing issues. DA Languages which provides interpretation and translation services, including British Sign Language, secured the contract for GP interpreting services across East Anglia in April 2019, commissioned by NHS England. Unfortunately we have experienced ongoing issues with their ability to provide a BSL Interpreter despite requesting that they contact Deaf Connexions to check availability. We have reported this to NHS England and will do so again to try and resolve these issues.

  Surgery can’t get BSL interpreter, been going on since April 2019. Not fair. Deaf should be treated equally Deaf can’t see doctor

  My new diabetic nurse is fantastic , she takes times to listen and does not belittle you unlike the previous diabetic nurses. She is the exception . The feedback is for the surgery and not my recent experience with my diabetic nurse

• Friendly staff and good service

  Receptionists are always friendly. I've never had trouble getting an appointment especially for my child. The surgery being joined up with Southgate is helpful as sometimes appointments are offered there too.

• Getting through on the phone is hard

  When we moved here they were brilliant but since they joined with Southgate surgery it's not been the same. They might answer the phone if you're lucky! I've waited 12 minutes 4 seconds before - I timed it and wrote a complaint letter. I got a reply but it didn't really solve the issue. When my husband sees the doctor though, they're very good with him and good at dealing with his dementia.

• GP went out of her way to help me

  My GP recently retired so I don't have a regular GP anymore but find they are good. Everyone complains about appointments but I think this is common wherever you go. There is a diabetes clinic which is very good. I need blood tests in advance, I get reminders for everything and they are really good. My doctor pushed for me to get knee surgery, but the hospital didn't want to know at first, but she was very persistent. She helped me get personal independence payments by writing a letter on my behalf. She went out of her way to help me. I hope my new doctor will be as good.

  They are very prompt on the phone. I get seen quickly, good care in the surgery. They offer blood tests and stuff which means not going to the hospital.

  They are very empathetic. I usually see a different doctor each time I go in. If it's an emergency I can get an appointment. Nurses and doctors have it hard, they need more funding.
