  The nurse practitioners are wonderful but it's horrendous to get a appointment with a GP and even worse to get a follow up appointment. I don't use online so I feel like I miss out because of it.

  I have been registered with this practice for nearly 20 years, and although I have moved house since and have other surgeries that are closer, I did not consider changing as I have always recieved really good service from this practice on the few occasions when I have needed it. I have visited today and has an excellent consultation with a doctor who clearly knew their subject, and was 100% committed to resolving my issue. Sure, it can be a little tricky to get an appointment, but from what I hear that is pretty much standard wherever you go these days. I always use the online service which I find very convenient and can get an appointment at a time that suits me. As long as this surgery keeps up the standard of care that I have personally experienced in the past, then I would not consider going elsewhere. Keep up the great work!

  I went to see the GP because there was fluid leaking from my legs (lymphedema) and I was unable to stop it. The GP was unable to help me and I was advised this was not something a district nurse was likely to provide support for. I called the district nurse myself and they came out and sorted it. If I had not have been able to have spoken for myself and make a phone call I potentially would not have received any help.

  Dear Anonymous I am sorry to learn of your situation - one which is down to the Norwich GP lymphadema service being discontinued as a fully commissioned service under the NHS, whilst the District Nursing service can continue to provide this care. I do apologise for the mis-information given (albeit the word 'likely' is used) but have to say there has been a degree of confusion as to what the local lymphedema services will look like in the future. This reply has been delayed from your original post, as there was an understanding that the GP lymphadema service would be re-commissioned from April 1st 2017, but as yet that has not happened. We still await details of the new service, and hope that this is fully commissioned in the very near future. Ian Wilson Practice Manager

  Had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment. Very difficult to get an appointment.

  Thank you for your comments - I am sorry to hear that you could not readily get an appointment as you required. We still have Dr Macris away from the surgery with his own medical situation, and this has impacted the availability of some appointments, as we were not always been able to fully cover with Locum GP's at the time you posted this comment. Incidentally, at the time you posted, the local media was heavily covering the whole issue of GP capacity in Norfolk, with the EDP running both front page and comment pieces, covering the rising problem of increased wait times. We have since recruited 3 extra clinicians, 1 GP and 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, to boost our available capacity and as at the time of writing we have been back to having available routine appointments 2-3 days forward, as well as unused 'same day' capacity for more urgent needs. I hope this service improvement by way of successful recruitment enables you to received the service we would both want to see in the future. Ian Wilson Practice Manager.

  They were lots of doctors I saw regularly here but they seem to have gone now. It would be good to see more permanent doctors but they have a good attention to care here.

  All the staff are really friendly and efficient. Only downside is the communication from the surgery with the pharmacy regarding prescriptions.
