Is this the best Practice in Norfolk?
8th January 2021I cannot fault the Bowthorpe Practice. Including receptionists, nurses and doctors. Whenever we have needed their services they have been available, sometime at very short notice .

My symptoms
16th September 2020I emailed the surgery the evening of the 15th of September about my symptoms, and received a call from Dr Morton the next morning at 9am, he released what my symptoms were and was able to help me straight away. I have emailed a few times now and have been so happy with the results, and the staff are so very helpful.

Great physio advice
7th September 2020I had a physio appointment over the phone for wrist pain I had been experiencing for over 4 months. The physiotherapist was very clear, knowledgeable and supportive. His advice was excellent and has solved my issue in no time. I am so pleased with the support. Thank you :)

Screening experience good
7th January 2020Cervical screening experience was all good. Only marked down one point as there is a slightly longer wait but understandable given it’s a surgery rather than a dedicated unit. Pleasant staff, again calm and patient and results quick.

Good level of care
15th October 2018All the staff there are very good. Appointments are not always on time which is the same everywhere, but the level of care here is very good.

Making an appointment
16th July 2018To make an appointment, you are asked to call at 8.30am. The answer phone is not deactivated until a few minutes after that time. I rang using the "call back" function on my smart phone from 8.30 until 8.45 until I got through. I made 160 calls! My main issue with this is that this system seems to be unfairly weighted to those who are digitally literate and feeling well. I worry that if you are older, with a traditional landline and not feeling well, this approach would be stressful and you are more likely to end up with less choice of an appointment time. Once you get to see a doctor at this surgery the service is always very good.

I was quite ill for for three years..
19th February 2018My doctor really looked after me. Referred me to the hospital and anything I need. She has time to listen to me and is very understanding of my issues.
