impssible to contact
7th September 2021This is re: the Trinity street surgery. They insist that all contact is made through their online form, but not only is the form locked when the surgery is closed, but they do not unlock it on time in the mornings, so you are left for a long time refreshing the page. If you do try to call the surgery, they have an extremely long message you have to sit through, telling you to use the online form. Very poor accessibility.

Broken links- Re-directs to irrelevant pages
21st August 2021Their website has a lot of broken links -- it's sending people back to the same irrelevant page. Once registering for online services, how do we obtain information????

Very difficult to contact
10th July 2021Surgery ignored two repeat prescription requests sent online. Long automated phone message tells you to use the online contact form, when it doesn’t just immediately hang up claiming the phone queue is full. The online contact for to arrange an appointment does not work outside of opening hours. Awful communication and accessibility.

3rd July 2021I need to leave a message for my doctor and there is nowhere else to do this except for here ! i need a represciption. very cross and scared to be without my meds and there is no appropriate place message anyone !!!1

Problems obtaining repeat prescription
10th May 2021I have a number of long-term conditions for which I take medication on a long-term basis. I obtain my repeat prescriptions via local chemist. Experience with the surgery (and chemist) is normally very good. I requested a repeat prescription from the chemist on the morning of 4th May and was told it would be available from afternoon of 6th May. I made contact with the chemist late on 7th May to check on when I could collect items and was told that they had not received the repeat from the surgery and that in fact that they had not received any requested repeat prescriptions at all from the surgery for past 4 days and to try again on 10th May. I tried to call the surgery several times (4-5) during the day on 10th to ask about this, but never got put through (Voice message: 'High volume of calls, the queue is full, call back later'). Called chemist who said that he had been put in holding queue a couple of times that day but then cut off after 10 mins waiting - he had still not received any repeat prescriptions. I went to the surgery and spoke with reception staff by intercom - not allowed into surgery and was told there were no Doctors on site. On explaining problem, they said that they would send my repeat request to other surgery for sign off but normal wait was 72 hours so could not say when this would be sent to the pharmacy. I had explained that I was about to run out of medication and repeated this so they said that they would ask for it to be quicker but could not guarantee this. Not sure what the problem is with the service as previously good/very good...

Lack of professionalism
30th April 2021I was called in to an appointment by a nurse, who called me in by my first name. I had come in for a contraceptive injection and the nurse thought I was having a blood test. When I said that wasn’t the case she said it ‘must be’ because of my first name. I checked the surname she had, which was wrong. There was another patient with my name but another surname. Possibly my fault for not waiting until she called the surname too, but this could have been a major error. The nurse was very dismissive and did not apologise for this. Such a shame, as I have always had previous positive experiences at the practice.

Visit to the nurse
23rd April 2021I came in for a smear test. Firstly the nurse checked to see if I have any problems with the test, if I usually struggle with discomfort or pain. I have never had a nurse acknowledge the fact that this can be a painful experience. I have endometriosis, this is always painful for me. After she took the time to talk about my problems. She didnt once brush off what I was saying, and she understood. It was so different to what I've experienced before. I actually left quite emotional and touched by the kindness of this wonderful woman.

Car accident!
13th April 2021An ambulance turns up to the accedent and was told I was good to. Go, 48 hours later I can't move my neck or back!!! And your still telling me I'm fine! And that if its not better by next week to come back!!! Suspected whiplash and your saying I'm good Your service is shocking!!
