    Thank you for your feedback and very pertinent comments. I acknowledge that, at the moment, only one of the 9 parking slots we lease is annotated as disabled parking. We are currently looking at some different parking arrangements with the landlords/landowners, but unfortunately any changes could still take some time to come to fruition. I am very sorry to learn that you had to park away from the surgery on the day you completed this feedback – the throughput of the public parking spaces opposite the surgery is normally such that a 5 minute wait would normally see at least one free space become available. Most of our appointments are available for phone booking via reception, but I can certainly appreciate that being 18th or 20th in the queue is not ideal. Call waiting times are monitored at various stages of the day, and even the 18-20 calls first thing in the morning would normally be answered within a relatively short space of time. Although remote Private GP services may be right for some, we pride ourselves on providing that personal individual care, and, yes, our Doctors (and all indeed all our clinicians) are real and living! There certainly has been a move in recent years to patient self-care across the whole of Norfolk, and indeed the UK, under NHS England’s ‘#self-care’ campaigns. I hope you do not feel that this is ignoring the problem, but is more leaving you to manage the ongoing situations yourself in the way you would wish.     Thank you for your feedback and rating of Campingland Surgery. I am sorry that the impacts of working under the Covid restrictions appeared to have impacted you. We were still seeing patients face-to-face all the way through the pandemic where there was a clear clinical need but were also working under the remit from NHS England/Improvement that, given the very serious implications for vulnerable patients, we should bring as few patients into the surgery as possible. I stress that, unlike some Norfolk practices, we are not an ‘online only’ practice, dealing with approximately 220-250 inbound calls from our patients each day. We are happy to accept contact from our patients in whatever form suits them best (albeit, we have not set up a TikTok page as yet!) I would absolutely agree that not everybody can use a computer, which is why we at Campingland have not followed some other surgeries in Norfolk in making access primarily via the available online services. We deal with approximately 220-250 incoming calls into the surgery per day and run with a team of up to 3 receptionists answering those calls. As covered elsewhere on this forum, we have a large team of specialists in the practice who deal with many of the patient needs that a general practitioner dealt with in years gone by. This is not so much an ‘erosion of rights’ but working to NHS England’s teamworking ethos and employing specialists to deal with ever-more complex patient needs. Ian Wilson Practice Manager

I think you have more robustness than the surgery building (built about the time you became a patient), which we know is looking somewhat tired and dated.
