  Supposedly I will be called for this. I am disabled and wheelchair bound, so need a home visit. HGP reception did not explain why this is not possible so I found SPIRE Kings Lynn phone number (Carefully hidden) and was given the runaround via HGP, phone 119 and finally told to get my doctor to call me. So far I have spent more than 2 hours on this nonsense.

  We are not ill very often but if we need to we are able to see a doctor face to face. There is a good system where you can email and send a photo. They will call you back and offer advise. When we have been seen the service has been good.

• Frustrating

  I never had anything but praise pre-pandemic, however it is causing a lot of confusion around the village since March 2020. I became ill no Covid symptoms but within 2 days I was unable to move off the sofa without gasping for breath. When ever I phoned I was given antibiotics and steroids. This continued for over 5 weeks. I was never once offered an appointment or sent to the hospital. Anything new I tried I had to organise myself. Eventually referred to Respiratory clinic, anyway to cut a story short I’ve sourced medication from a long Covid website, I’ve looked for rehabilitation and/or support but very little help from doctor. I did change drs as I lost confidence and just a bit better but enough to placate me. I can’t help wondering why nurses are constantly seeing patients. Yesterday I asked for a dr to call my hubby was told it could be up to 6pm. No one rang so I tried again today it’s now 4:40pm and again no one has rang. I don’t find this acceptable at all.

  Used the online service to request a callback from a dr, within the hour I had the callback from gp and medication ready to collect from boots in heacham.

  Prolong waiting time for phone call inquiries.(Multiple times) Phone Call Recipients were unsure about any questions and agreed to call back after find out answers but I'm still awaiting for the response. They also misinformation about new patient registration. I have to find out on the website myself.

• Help for my profoundly deaf daughter.

  My daughter has been profoundly deaf from birth and communication is by sign language and lip reading. On visiting Heacham for a holiday with her twin girls, sand was blown into her eye by high wind causing great pain, blurring and swelling. On visiting Heacham practice she received excellent care and kindness by receptionist Lucy and the doctor who used signing and written communication to aid the consultation.   Where do I start with this absolute incompetence. have had higher than average PSA levels for a number of blood tests it then started to go up slightly. They told me not to worry as its only gone up slightly, this had been the 3rd time it Rose so I insisted they refer me to a urologist....guess what I have aggressive prostate cancer! 4 GP visits about my prostate and told nothing to worry about. Having treatment now had my referral been sooner perhaps I wouldn't have got to the aggressive stage. Rude receptionists, told me blood test results need discussion then told nothing wrong.   I've been with HGP for 15+ years, I have had good and bad experiences but on the whole I would recommend. I wish my mothers local surgery was half as good as Heacham. A* doctors!

  All of the staff are helpful, from when you first get through to sitting down with a clinician (or a telephone/video call). Yes there can be a wait on the phones first thing, but everyone’s busy in healthcare nowadays and I know I’ll always get seen. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and accommodating with any queries or questions you might have.

  Shocking in every respect, getting an appointment, getting the right treatment, highly unlikely. With the number of elderly on their books, how many died early through neglect I wonder?
