  Really surprised to arrive early and find nobody waiting or even being vaccinated. I had been told weeks ago by the surgery that I had the only available appointment for most of October. I had booked a covid vaccination and was surprised to be asked about reactions I may have to flu jabs, they we’re planning to give me both

  Dear Ian I’m pleased to hear you were seen promptly. Your appointment time may have been before or after a scheduled work break for our vaccinators - but we gave around 800 vaccines during our Gurney Vaccine Clinic. Being asked about previous reactions to the vaccinations is a standard question that we are required to ask our patients - and record before administering further vaccines.   Three staff were administering the vaccines in three rooms. It would have been good to have access to info on this season’s Covid vax.

  I was given Covid and flu, they asked my wife if she was up to date. She said she hadn’t had flu.Although she had no appointment they gave her flu vaccine. Brilliant!
