  I work in a school. We are struggling to cope with the emotional Wellbeing of our children. Referrals seem to take forever or eligibility criteria is so high we cannot get the support we need for families.

  There's a lack of communication between GP's and mental health workers. I don't want to have to share my story more than once with a stranger. There needs to be more cohesion between professionals.

  Mental health services are under staffed. The service is deteriorating. I can't fault the staff however, they're working with what they've been given. They're chasing their own tails.

  Mental health should be targeted before it gets to a critical level, but it never is. It's impossible to get an appointment with minor anxiety or stress.

• Tailored mental health support please

  Having attended the NHS well-being service and a counsellor at my GP surgery who kindly listened to all my problems, there is still a need for alternative therapies with regards to mental health. These approaches might help someone with mild depression but if you have suffered something more traumatic, you have to go private and it simply costs too much.

  My daughter has mental health issues. They provided help too late. When my daughter had a crisis and needed help, no one was there for her. When they finally got back to us the crisis was over. The service is a waste of users and professionals time.

• Recovery college

  By getting involved with the recovery college I feel liberated. I am no longer afraid of mental health I live hand in hand with it.

  When I moved up here they got me in within a week. They're really good.
