  Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere. Staff to patient care is amazing. Highly recommend this centre. They are very tactful with grieving relatives, which is a really important skill to have in palliative care.

• Struggle to get ADHD diagnosis for my child

  It's taken 7 years to get an ADHD diagnosis for my daughter. All professionals we've seen and there are many have said it's not ADHD. The schools say she doesn't display this at school yet at home we get the aggression and violence and all with no support.

• Parents struggling to access support (ASD)

  Parents are finding it difficult to get continuity of access especially for older children. They are often discharged and can't get back in. They feel that paediatricians don't always listen and see just a 'snapshot' especially girls with difficulties.

  Treatment I've received at this facility has been very good. After a double hip replacement, I was very apprehensive about ongoing pain issues. Staff are very patient and understanding and I feel like they listen to me.

  The doctor (paediatrician) allocated was kind and considerate. They offer us support post diagnosis that I am sure funding and time do not allow. He did not close the door to us.

• Epilepsy service

  I know of a family who are able to contact the epilepsy nurse and talk to them whenever they need to. I think this is an excellent service. It means they do not have to travel every time or make an appointment as transport is a problem. I am not sure whether this is above and beyond the service or part of it but it has really made a difference.

  I didn't feel that we had received enough help in terms of diagnosing a mental health problem. We were discharged but we feel there is still a problem with our sons mental health.

  My mother in law was diagnosed with cancer, at first I thought we could care for her at home. We had and continue to have appalling service.

• Failing county

  The entire county is failing because of buck passing. No one will take responsibility over my enquiry regarding my son and educational services not responding to me since January and the issue that Starfish will not cover high functioning children. Services need to talk to each other and be more centralised rather than separated like our Clinical Commissioning Groups.
