Flu jab clinics not scheduled

Whilst on the system to make a nurse appointment, I noticed that there was also a link/form to make a flu clinic appointment. I completed the form and submitted it, only to be informed that there were no clinics scheduled. Why is the link/form still available and no message saying that clinics are unavailable at present before completing the form?

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we were awaiting official confirmation of our flu vaccine delivery dates before we scheduled clinics, so were unable to provide a booked appointment at the time of your request.
I apologise that the appointment request form was still accessible on our website and the inconvenience this caused this was an oversight and should have been removed. Our Saturday flu clinic dates have now been confirmed dates have now been confirmed.

This Doctors is by far the best, they have been brilliant with me and my daughter on both occasions we have needed them. They got me and my daughter registered and saw us the same day which we register which was amazing. The nurse we saw was reassuring and listened to my concerns and understood. I have been back today for myself and receptionists were friendly and got me booked in the same day which was yet again brilliant. The doctor was on time All of the staff here actually seemed like they enjoyed their job unlike other doctors in the area and gave excellent communication. The practice feels very welcoming. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done.

Contacted surgery via the email function before 8.00am. Received a very quick reply followed up by a face to face consultation with Valerie at 11.30 the same day. Excellent and very complex consultation putting my mind at rest. Thank you.

I have an underlying health problem and they are good with me. I make an email request and it is dealt with the same day.

It feels like it's back to normal. I prefer face-to-face and in the last 3 months I have been able to see the doctor face-to-face. I can't think of any improvements, it's well run.

I have only visited my surgery once but I found the receptionist very helpful and such a lovely lady. The doctor I saw was so helpful and very caring. I could not have asked for anything better.

I get regular reviews and they keep you updated. I have regular appointments and I have no complaints. My only issue is it would be good if we could use the pharmacy here instead of Boots.

Thank you for your feedback.
We are governed by strict prescribing regulations and can not issue/dispense medication to any patient that lives within a mile of a pharmacy. We would like nothing more than to give our patients access to 100% of the services we offer at Plowright, but unfortunately this is beyond our control.
If you feel that you fall outside of the mile radius, we would be happy to check your details to see if using the Plowright Dispensary is an option,. Please speak to the dispensary team when you are next in the surgery.

We always get an appointment, it's good. Like lots of people we would prefer face-to-face appointments rather than telephone but it's still very good.

Thank you for your comments, the practice offers a variety of ways to consult with the clinical team. Telephone. Face to face. Online . Our staff will always try to deal with your request in the best and quickest way.
Telephone calls or online message can be more convenient for the patient as this means you do not need to attend the surgery. So no travelling needed or time of work.
We will always consider the patients request, if you would prefer a F2F appointment, please let the receptionist know and they will try to accommodate, please be aware that there may be a slightly longer wait for a F2F appointment.
