They're fantastic at prioritising children. It's trickier to get an adult appointment though. They're good at telling you about vaccines for your child. Sometimes I feel like the GPs aren't aware of specialist services. I was given advice from the hospital's maternity department about where to get extra support for the diabetes I got during pregnancy and the GP hadn't heard of these services.

Quite often in Primary Care we cannot refer to some specialist services as this has to come from hospital consultants. Any information you can provide would help with learning. I feel like the support is really there for both myself and my baby. We've lived here six years and I've always had a positive experience. We get quick responses from the online forms.

I have not had to use the surgery much since registering, but anytime I need a GP appointment, I can obtain one in a reasonable timeframe. The doctor I saw recently (Dr Ihouma) was very caring during a difficult time.
The online forms work well for me as prevents me needing to wait on the phone lines for simple queries. It would be good to have access to on-the-day appointments via the online form but appreciate logistically this is likely difficult. The reception and admin teams seems to work efficiently and I always receive a prompt reply from my online queries.
I also appreciate the option of early morning blood test appointments as I work during usual surgery opening hours and this prevents the need for time off.
Thank you for your hard work during a known difficult time in the NHS.

I feel safe

I've just registered and it's changed my life. I witnessed the service my daughter got from here and it gave me hope that there are good surgeries. They're so supportive and so efficient. I feel safe. The whole registration process was stress-free. I got told to make an appointment so I went online and got one 3 days later. The doctor was helpful and I like that they do electronic prescriptions. It's a whole different ballgame to my previous surgery. I'm not expecting to be seen on the same day or even within a week but here I feel like I'd be listened to and I'd be safe.

This surgery is brilliant, the contrast from London is amazing! They're efficient, you can get an appointment, generally it's pretty spot-on. I book my appointments online. The recorded message is really long and you can't press the option you want until it's finished which is annoying. A coffee machine would also be nice! I'm only joking of course.

Always helpful but would like online booking

It was a very good appointment as I was able to see a doctor who looked at the problem and I have a prescription to sort it out. It started 3 weeks ago and I tried over-the-counter treatments as suggested by the receptionist which didn't clear it up but I was happy with that advice. If I've rang about anything or gone online they've always been helpful. It would be good to sometimes be able to book ahead but I understand that people don't turn up for appointments so I can see both sides. Ringing up can be difficult and frustrating, I've been 22nd in the queue. I can't imagine how frustrating it is for them receiving the calls! It could perhaps be improved. We used to be able to book online and I'd like to see that back again.

First class! They fitted me in very quickly. I'd made mistakes with my booking dates but they sorted it out for me. It's the first time I've been and I'm most impressed, they're excellent.

Always do their best

The receptionists always seem to try to do their best to help you. Over the years I've found them to be very good, particularly how one doctor looked after my father when he had Alzheimer's. Today was quick and the dispensary usually do your prescriptions much quicker than they say it will take. The one thing that's terrible is having to ring at 8 in the morning. I've been number 19 and then been cut off! It's busy even if you ring later in the day but I guess they're taking lots of calls. In September it's changing so that you won't be able to book prescriptions on the Windmill website which has always worked very well. You'll have to go through the NHS one and I'm slightly apprehensive about that. I'm worried it won't work as well.

We've lived in many parts of the UK and this is by far the best surgery we've ever been to. They're so fantastic and well organised. They're always amazing, they're so pro-active. My wife was seeing the Physicians Associate and on the way out she spotted a problem on my nose. I was referred to dermatology and it is cancer so I was grateful for that. When our prescriptions are ready we get a message on our phone to collect. They've been through a large staff change but they seem well recruited now.
