  I think they're alright - no one's perfect. I think the thing that needs improving is my patience. I'm intolerant to the system - I come from somewhere with a faster pace - an East London metropolis and it is a matter of patience - in rural areas you don't hurry.

• Receptionists Are Good As Gold

  I have a nightmare of a time trying to get through on the phone in the morning. I've had to ring 40 times in a row before I've been able to get through and speak to someone. Once I do get through I usually don't have to wait too long to speak to someone. The receptionists are really lovely, she sorts it all out for me. I'm happy. They are alright here, good as gold they are.

• can't seem to ask a simple question

  I want to ask the doctor a question about a followup from consultation at James Paget. The letter said I should have urologist contact me about my cancer and that was dated 10th. May. Whenever I try to use the online service it says they are full

• Staff are always very good

  Your experience at the practice can vary so much. During COVID it was understandable that it was difficult. But since COVID where did all the doctors go? They ask you to call to make an appointment but by the time you get through all the appointments have gone. The receptionist is always helpful and I feel sorry for them because they can only help if the appointments are available. I would prefer a face to face appointment because I think this makes for a better patient experience and avoids mistakes. The personal touch has gone and the frustration leads to very nice people being rude.

  The staff on reception are very helpful. They fitted me in today at Martham surgery today because they didn't have anyone to see me at Hemsby.

  I called this morning to get an appointment but they didn't have one so they facilitated an appointment for me at Martham Medical Centre. The staff at Hemsby were very polite and very efficient.

• Really good, but not many doctors available

  You can ring from 8am but you're lucky to get through. When you do get through the receptionists are very helpful and sometimes they manage to get us in to see someone. I'm not too keen on telephone appointments, seeing people face to face is important to me. Without difficulties getting through on the phone the surgery is 5 out of 5.

• Alright - had phonecalls and been to see them

  Alright. We’ve had phonecalls from the doctor and gone in too. That’s been fine. We go to Church Rooms to collect prescriptions and it’s been fine. I went for blood test but not has my full asthma check up. I’m okay, everything seem fine with my asthma though. We count ourselves lucky!

  Fantastic service. I always get a response from them. Never have any issues getting my medications. Very efficient and courteous.
