It's fantastic, I've never had a problem. When I've needed to see a doctor I've been able to. The doctors and nurses are all fantastic. I can usually get an appointment on the same day if I need to. There's nothing I'd improve.

As a family, this surgery has been amazing at looking after us all over the years. Yes it can be difficult to get through on the phones and yes there aren't as many appointments as there used to be as the surgery has more patients now. Ultimately, when you need them they are there. If ever the children are unwell, the receptionists will always make sure they are seen by either a GP or one of the Nurse Practitioners ( who are excellent). The staff who work in the surgery are friendly, hard working and dedicated, they should be highly praised for all they do for our community.

Supportive at a difficult time

My son is a patient here. He was seen by a GP as his mental health had deteriorated significantly. The surgery were quick to see him and quick to act in referring for crisis support and admission into hospital. They were so kind to him (and myself) while we were at the surgery in what was a very traumatic situation.

A friendly surgery

I've been a patient with this practice for a long time and have seen it change significantly over time. The staff know their patients well and I have always felt that my own thoughts and feelings about my care are taken into consideration. My only gripe is that I am keen to move with the times and so have repeatedly tried to register to use the online booking system, but find it very difficult and not user friendly, I have experienced technical problems trying to activate the account, which when I try to seek help from the practice staff or the technical support centre, I keep being passed between the two!!

Don't get answers

I don't feel you get any answers. I was told the arches had fallen on my foot and to just get a shoe support but I was sent for an x-ray and because of wear and tear was referred to physio. I had to chase the results. They don't tell you. It's very hard to get appointments too.

My doctor knows exactly what I need and takes good care of us. We can always get an appointment within a few hours. They are better than excellent.

Left in limbo

I should have a yearly appointment with my consultant at the JPH but I’ve been waiting nearly two years. I’m also being treated through Addenbrooks and they have told me to stop taking my rheumatoid drugs as they believe it’s caused an infection in the bone flap through taking mexi. They’ve made me stop taking my medication but this means I’m not receiving any pain relief for my arthritis.
I saw a nurse at JPH when I was first diagnosed two years ago but feel no one is helping me manage my condition. My doctor’s surgery just defer to Addenbrooks or JPH and don’t understand my condition.
Addenbrooks are only concerned with my head and meanwhile I’m just left in limbo.

They referred me here, there and everywhere. They gave me drugs I didn't need and even told me it was my fault. It took four years to sort out and the GP had nothing to do with it.
