They don't have enough GPs. Its usually difficult to get an appointment but today I did get one and was happy with the advice I was given. Overall though I don't think its that good. The staff are fine when you get here but getting the appointment is difficult.

Generally I am very happy here and the surgery is very good. I can usually get an appointment but they do seem quite busy and you do have to wait sometimes.

I called this morning and got an appointment for today. I saw the physio and was very pleased with the advice I was given. However sometimes it is less good as it can be difficult to get an appointment with a doctor. I don't think there are enough doctors for the number of people. Generally I am pleased to get an appointment and I don't mind who it is with as long as they can help.
So hard to get an appointment, either a phone or face to face, by the time I got through all morning appointments had gone, told to call back at 2 and try for an afternoon appointment, really difficult to do this due to working, cannot prebook either…absolute nightmare. Looks like I will have to take a day off work unpaid just to be able to get an appointment. Great system if you don’t work and can sit at home all day trying to get through or are available all day for an appointment, no good to people who work

Fantastic phone system

The system for accessing appointments or anything works very well - you leave a voicemail and they get back to you within half an hour. I've only had two emergencies whilst with them and they were resolved very quickly.

Long wait for cortisone injection

I can get through on the phone okay and don't have to wait too long but it is a struggle to get my cortisone injection. I have had trouble with my shoulder for years and have an injection about once a year. I asked for it in September this year and am still waiting, told if I have not heard anything by the end of November to get back in touch, as it is they do not do them here so I have to travel to Dersingham, think the Doctor that does them has come out of retirement to do them. He is great, a really nice guy and told me he has no idea why I have to wait so long as he has spaces. It's very frustrating as I am in a lot of pain and I know the injection makes a difference. They are great at everything else, covid, flu and shingles injections and they always treat me well.

I find the service is quite good. I have always been able to see someone when I needed to. I saw a lady doctor who was very good. It's strange to see the waiting room so empty when it was always so busy before.

I rang at 8.30am and came in for 9am. they have done an ECG and checked me out, now just waiting on some results. I got through easily on the phone and the nurse and Doctor I saw today were both very good.

Today was great so have given 5 stars but it's not always like that.
I rang at 10am, got an appointment for 10.40 and they have sorted me out.
Normally it is a really long wait on the phone and sometimes you get cut off. You can tell they are not seeing people in person as the waiting room is never full like it used to be.

Under a lot of pressure

The staff attitude is marvellous, everyone you see is great but the turn over of Doctors is high so as soon as you get one you get on well with they leave. They do not get a chance to know you. I got a text a while back saying who my new named doctor was, my old one left 6 years ago! Dr Funnell has been here a while and he is very good.
If you ring at 8 you can be in the phone queue for 20 minutes and then get cut off. You then get called back by a doctor to decide if they will see you in person. If a doctor tells you to book a blood test for 6 weeks time, you go to reception to book it and they can't do it that far in advance so it means a long wait on the phone or a trip here to book it in a fortnight's time, that just doesn't make any sense. I think the booking system lets them down.
I do appreciate the pressure they are under and that the NHS is underfunded. They are doing the best they can.
